Dolgit has a local anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-exudative effect.

The key link in the specific action of ibuprofen is inhibition of the biosynthesis of prostaglandins - inflammatory mediators.

It causes a weakening or disappearance of pain syndrome (including pain in the joints at rest and during movement), a decrease in morning stiffness and swelling of the joints.

Promotes increased range of motion.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug is used only for local application: the concentration in the synovial fluid is 1.45 μg / ml.

It is excreted mainly in the urine.

Indications for use

Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system: - arthritis (rheumatoid, psoriatic)

The gel should not be applied under covering, airtight dressings.

In severe cases, it is recommended to combine local therapy with oral NSAIDs.

Overdose

Symptoms: when applying large amounts of the gel on a large surface of the skin or getting into the oral cavity, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and headache may occur.

Treatment: the remains of the gel should be removed from the surface of the skin or from the oral cavity.

If large amounts of the drug enter the oral cavity, gastric lavage, the use of saline laxatives and symptomatic therapy are indicated.

Cases of overdose with Dolgit cream have not been described.

Symptoms: if the drug is accidentally ingested, nausea and vomiting may occur.

Treatment: cleanse the stomach (induce vomiting, take activated charcoal) and consult a doctor.

Further treatment, if necessary, is symptomatic.

Allergic reactions: possibly - bronchospasm (with increased sensitivity to NSAIDs)
