Cream for external use
LokoidЃ cream is preferably used for acute and subacute skin processes (without getting wet).
The drug is applied to the affected skin with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. To improve penetration, the drug is applied with massaging movements. If positive dynamics appear, the frequency of application of the drug can be reduced to 2-3 times a week. The dose of the drug used during the week should not exceed 30-60 g.
Ointment for external use
LocoidЃ in the form of an ointment is used for subacute and chronic processes, especially in the presence of lichenification, infiltration, dryness.
The drug is applied to the affected skin with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. If positive dynamics appear, the frequency of application of the drug can be reduced to 2-3 times a week. To improve penetration, the drug is applied with massaging movements. In cases of a resistant course of diseases, for example, with the localization of dense psoriatic plaques on the elbow areas, knees, the drug can be used under occlusive dressings. The dose of the drug used during the week should not exceed 30-60 g.
Locoid CreloЃ
Locoid CreloЃ is preferably used for acute inflammation, especially on wet areas, and this dosage form is also the best choice for lesions of skin areas with abundant hair (for example, the scalp).
The drug is applied to the affected skin with a thin layer 1-3 times a day. If positive dynamics appear, the frequency of application of the drug can be reduced to 2-3 times a week.
The drug can be applied with light massaging movements, if necessary, an occlusive dressing is applied to the surface of the lesions with wetting after applying Locoid CreloЃ. Remains of the drug are removed from the skin surface with water.
The dose of the drug used during the week should not exceed 30-60 g.
