Lizobact tablets for resorption, No. 30

Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums and larynx:

• gingivitis;

• stomatitis;

• catarrhal phenomena in the upper respiratory tract;

• aphthous ulceration;

• herpetic lesions (as part of complex therapy);

• erosion of the oral mucosa of any etiology.

The drug is used topically in the oral cavity.

Children aged 3-7 years - 1 tab. 3 times a day, children aged 7-12 years - 1 tab. 4 times a day; adults and children over 12 years old are prescribed 2 tab. 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 8 days.

LizobactЃ tablets should be slowly dissolving without chewing, keeping the melted mass of the tablet in the oral cavity as long as possible until complete dissolution.

Lozenges, white or yellowish-white, round, with a dividing line on one side and a chamfer on both sides, inclusions in the form of dark spots are possible.

lysozyme hydrochloride 20 mg

pyridoxine hydrochloride 10 mg

Excipients: lactose monohydrate - 155.4 mg, gum tragacanth - 10 mg, magnesium stearate - 4 mg, sodium saccharinate - 0.5 mg, vanillin - 0.1 mg.

• Hereditary lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose / galactose malabsorption syndrome;

• children under 3 years old;

• chicken protein allergy;

• hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

pharmachologic effect

Combined antiseptic for topical use. The effect of the drug is due to its constituent components.

Lysozyme is an enzyme of a protein nature, it is used as an antiseptic due to its direct effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and viruses. Takes part in the regulation of local nonspecific immunity.

Pyridoxine has a protective effect on the oral mucosa (has an antiphthous effect). Does not affect the pharmacodynamic properties of lysozyme.

Side effect

Allergic reactions: angioedema (angioedema), urticaria, bronchospasm, very rarely - exudative erythema multiforme.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

It is possible to use the drug LizobactЃ during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

Application in children

Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age. The use of the drug in children over 3 years old is possible according to the dosage regimen.

In case of an allergic reaction, the use of the drug should be discontinued. In such cases, the patient should consult a doctor.

Overdose

Overdose symptoms are unlikely, may occur after use in doses significantly higher than therapeutic and are manifested by a feeling of numbness, tingling sensation, as well as loss of sensitivity in the upper and lower extremities.

Treatment: drinking plenty of fluids (forced diuresis).

Drug interactions

When used together, LizobactЃ enhances the effect of antibiotics, incl. penicillin, chloramphenicol, nitrofurantoin, enhances the effect of diuretics, weakens the activity of levodopa.

Isoniazid, penicillamine, pyrazinamide, immunosuppressants, estrogens, and oral contraceptives may increase the need for pyridoxine (pyridoxine antagonistic effect or increased renal excretion).
