Inside, children from 6 months to 3 years old - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day; 3Ц8 years old - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day; 8-18 years old - 1 teaspoon 4 times a day; adults - 2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day.

The duration of the drug is 5-7 days. An increase in the duration and repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Combined herbal preparation. Reduces the intensity and increases the productivity of cough, has an expectorant, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Adhatoda vascular has an antitussive, bronchodilator, expectorant and antispasmodic effect.

The root of licorice smooth contains glycyrrhizin and foaming substances - saponins, which help to increase the secretory function of the epithelium of the respiratory tract, change the surface-active properties of the pulmonary surfactant, stimulate the movement of epithelial cilia, thin phlegm and facilitate its discharge. It has a depressing effect on the exudative and proliferative phase of inflammation. It has anti-allergic properties.

Long pepper has antibacterial, anti-allergic properties. It has an antitussive and general tonic effect.

Fragrant violet has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, soothing, antimicrobial and antispasmodic effects.

Hyssop ordinary contains diosmin, which has an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antitussive effect.

Kalgan large has a bactericidal effect, has anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties.

Marshmallow has an expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Ziziphus vulgaris has an expectorant effect, relieves sore throat, has sedative and antibacterial properties.

Pharmacokinetics

The effect of the drug Linax is the combined effect of its components; therefore, pharmacokinetic studies are not possible.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Due to the lack of adequate and strictly controlled studies of the safety of use, the drug is not recommended to be prescribed during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).

Application in children

Children aged 6 months to 3 years are prescribed 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times / day; children aged 3 to 8 years - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times / day; children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 years - 1 teaspoon 4 times / day.

The drug is contraindicated in children under 6 months of age.

special instructions

The syrup contains sucrose (70%), which must be taken into account when prescribing the drug to patients with diabetes mellitus and to patients following a hypocaloric diet.

It is not recommended to take Linkas simultaneously with antitussive drugs, as well as drugs that reduce the formation of sputum.

Overdose

To date, no cases of overdose of Linkas have been reported.
