• Relief of constipation in adults and children over 12 years of age.

• In complex therapy and for the prevention of diarrhea, flatulence and other digestive disorders caused by:

- viral and bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (for example, rotavirus infections, traveler's diarrhea);

- therapy with broad-spectrum antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs;

- radiation therapy of the abdominal and pelvic organs.

Adults take 2 capsules 3 times a day.

Linex should be taken after meals with a small amount of liquid.

For patients who cannot swallow a whole capsule, it must be opened, pour the contents into a spoon and mix with a small amount of liquid.

The duration of treatment depends on the cause of the development of dysbiosis and the individual characteristics of the organism.

Pharmacological properties

LinexЃ normalizes the intestinal microflora.

One capsule of LinexЃ contains at least 1.2 x 107 live lyophilized lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium infantis, Enterococcus faecium. Live lactic acid bacteria are a normal component of the natural intestinal microflora and are already found in the digestive tract of a newborn baby.

These bacteria are of great biochemical importance for the human body:

• fermentation of lactose shifts the pH towards the acidic side. An acidic environment inhibits the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria and ensures optimal action of digestive enzymes;

• participate in the synthesis of vitamins of group B, K, ascorbic acid, thereby increasing the body's resistance to unfavorable environmental factors;

• participate in the metabolism of bile pigments and bile acids;

• synthesize substances with antibacterial activity;

• increases the body's immune reactivity.

Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding

Due to the insufficient amount of data on the safety of use in pregnant and lactating women as a precautionary measure, taking LinexЃ during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is not recommended.

Treatment of diarrhea during pregnancy and during breastfeeding should be done under medical supervision.

Interaction with other medicinal products

No undesirable interactions with other drugs were noted.

The composition of the drug allows you to take LinexЃ in combination with any drugs, but preferably not in one dose.

To increase the effectiveness, it is advisable to take LinexЃ no earlier than three hours after taking antibiotics or chemotherapy drugs.

special instructions

You should not take Linex with hot drinks and take it at the same time as alcohol.

It is necessary to consult with your doctor before taking the drug if you have:

- body temperature above 38 ? —,

- traces of blood or mucus in the stool,

- diarrhea lasts more than two days and / or is accompanied by severe abdominal pain, dehydration and weight loss,

- chronic diseases (for example, diabetes mellitus, diseases of the cardiovascular system) or conditions accompanied by immunodeficiency (for example, HIV infection).

When treating diarrhea, it is necessary to replace lost fluids and electrolytes.
