Metabolic drug.

Lemontare is a regulator of tissue metabolism, enhances oxidation-reduction processes, the formation of ATP, which determines its antihypoxic and antioxidant properties, and the ability of the drug:

- activate the functions of organs and tissues,

- increase the reactivity of the body,

- to improve mental and physical performance,

- improve the course of pregnancy, growth and development of the fetus, *

- enhance the secretion of gastric juice, the formation of hydrochloric acid, increase appetite,

- to reduce the toxic effect of alcohol.

The action of the drug Limontar manifests itself in 10-20 minutes after ingestion

Pharmacokinetics

Succinic and citric acids completely decompose to water and carbon dioxide, no accumulation in the body occurs.

Indications for use

Lemontar is used:

- as a means to increase the nonspecific reactivity of the body of pregnant women, improve its adaptive and compensatory-protective capabilities in order to prevent complications in hypoxia, fetal malnutrition, and miscarriage

- for the prevention of intoxication

- in the treatment of acute alcoholic intoxication of mild and moderate severity to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and post-intoxication disorders

- in complex therapy for the treatment of drunken states in patients with chronic alcoholism

- during the period of alcohol withdrawal syndrome for the complex treatment of asthenovegetative disorders (general weakness, decreased performance, appetite)

- as a test breakfast" in the study of the secretory and acid-forming functions of the stomach (the diagnostic value of the drug Limontari histamine is equivalent).

Contraindications for use

- hypersensitivity

- arterial hypertension

- ischemic heart disease (including angina pectoris)

- glaucoma

- peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute stage

- late gestosis (severe form).

Dosage regimen

Administered orally before meals.

Before taking, the tablet is crushed and dissolved in water with baking soda (soda - on the tip of a knife).

For dissolution, you can use mineral water.

For pregnant women, Limontar is prescribed 1 tablet / day for 10 days in the first trimester (at 12-14 weeks of gestation) and in the second trimester (at 24-26 weeks of gestation).

In the third trimester, it is prescribed 10-25 days before delivery.

The total dose of the drug Limontar during pregnancy is 5-7.5 g.

As a means for the prevention of intoxication - 1 tab.

drug Limontarza 20-60 minutes before drinking alcohol.

In a state of acute alcoholic intoxication, the drug is prescribed 1 tab.

2-4 times / day with an interval of 1-2.5 hours.

When stopping drunken states, Limontar is prescribed 1 tab.

3-4 times / day for 4-10 days, both independently and in combination with traditional medicines.

When prescribed as a "test breakfast" for the study of the secretory and acid-forming functions of the stomach, 1 tab is taken orally, on an empty stomach, having previously been dissolved in 10-15 ml of water.

When a feeling of heaviness in the epigastric region appears, Limontar is prescribed after meals.

Side effect

Perhaps the appearance of pain in the epigastric region (usually these phenomena go away on their own after 3-5 minutes), increased secretion of gastric juice.

In persons prone to high blood pressure, after taking the drug, blood pressure may increase.
