Ligfol (1 dose) bottle 1 ml
DESCRIPTION
Ligfol is a drug for agricultural, domestic animals and fur-bearing animals to increase the general resistance and adapt the body's defenses to adverse effects. Dosage form: injection solution. In appearance, the drug is a dark brown liquid.
COMPOSITION
The drug in 1 ml contains as an active ingredient the butanol fraction of humic acids - 6 mg and auxiliary substances: sodium diphosphate - 5.5 mg, sodium chloride - 3.0 mg and water for injection - up to 1 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Ligfol belongs to the drugs of the group of immunomodulators.
The pharmacological properties of Ligfol are based on the ability of humic acids to stimulate immune-antioxidant mechanisms, including binding free radicals, increasing the activity of phagocytes, which increases the resistance of the animal body to unfavorable factors.
According to the degree of impact on the body, Ligfol belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), does not have local irritating, embryotoxic and teratogenic properties.
Ligfol is compatible with known drugs for specific and symptomatic therapy and feed additives. Due to the possible weakening of the degree of anesthesia, the interval between the introduction of Ligfol and the anesthetic agent should be at least 5 hours.
INDICATIONS
Ligfol is prescribed to farm animals, dogs, cats and fur animals for immunocorrection in pathological conditions that are caused or accompanied by secondary immune deficiency, caused, in particular, by stress maladjustment of the animal's body.
APPLICATION

In surgical practice, Ligfol is used before surgery to improve the tolerance of anesthesia and adapt the animal to stress once, no later than 5 days before the intended surgical intervention.
In order to prevent postoperative complications, accelerate the process of tissue regeneration and shorten the recovery period, Ligfol is used: the first injection immediately after the operation, the second injection after 24 hours, and then 5 injections with an interval of 7 days. In addition, in the course of treatment, local irrigation with Ligfol of the surgical wound is carried out once a day until signs of stable tissue regeneration appear.
For diseases of viral etiology in farm animals, dogs, cats and fur animals, Ligfol is used in combination with specific therapy after the first signs of the disease appear twice with an interval of 24 hours.
If necessary, the course of application is extended to 20-30 days, with an interval between injections of 5 days.
For horse helminthiasis, Ligfol is used in combination with specific therapy twice: the first injection 48-72 hours before deworming, the second injection on the day of deworming. If signs of intoxication appear after the use of an anthelmintic, Ligfol is additionally administered on the 5th, 15th and 45th day after deworming.
For the treatment of horses in the early stages of acute obstructive bronchitis, the drug is used as part of complex therapy 4 times - on the 2nd, 5th, 10th and 20th days after the first symptoms of the disease appear.

To stabilize and control the growth of immuno- and hormone-dependent tumors in dogs and cats, Ligfol is used as part of complex therapy in two stages - I stage 5-7 injections with an interval of 3 days, then II stage - 5 injections with an interval of 7 days. If necessary, repeat the course of the drug in a month.
