DESCRIPTION

Letosal (Letosalum) - a complex preparation is a sterile transparent pink solution.

COMPOSITION

A complex preparation which includes butaphosphamide and vitamin B 12 - 1 cm3 of the drug contains 100 mg of butaphosphamide, 0.05 mg of vitamin B 12.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Letozal has tonic properties, has a stimulating effect on metabolic processes (protein, carbohydrate, fat metabolism), increases the body's resistance to adverse factors, promotes the growth and development of animals.

The drug belongs to the IV class of hazard (low-hazard substances) according to GOST 12.1.007-76.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Letozal is prescribed for: metabolic disorders of various etiologies in animals and birds; for the prevention of infertility in cows and sows (tetany, maternity paresis), as a tonic during childbirth in cows and sows; to stimulate the growth of calves, piglets and chickens; treatment of secondary anemia in piglets; to increase the body's resistance as an auxiliary therapy for intoxications, viral and bacterial infections, damage to organs and systems in animals and birds.

Letozal is administered to animals once a day intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously (slowly), to birds - orally. The duration of the drug is 4-5 days.

Single doses of the drug are:

Pigs 2.5-10.0

Piglets 1.0-2.5

Broilers, laying hens 2.0 - 3.0 ml per 1 liter of drinking water

Chickens, young 1.0 -1.5 ml per 1 liter of drinking water

In chronic diseases, 1/2 dose of Letozal is prescribed, indicated in the table. If necessary, repeat the course of treatment with an interval of 7-14 days.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals after application of the drug and the use of animal products without restrictions.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity to drug components.

SIDE EFFECTS

Letozal does not cause complications in animals and does not have side effects when used in accordance with the instructions.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures from plus 5 to plus 25 В° C. The shelf life of the drug is 2 years from the date of manufacture.

PACKAGING

The drug is packed in glass bottles of 100 ml.
