The Lectio Risus reading glasses are plus-diopter glasses designed for people who have difficulty seeing up close, i.e. suffer from hyperopia. The lenses of the reading glasses are made of high quality polycarbonate. This modern material is not inferior in its qualities to glass lenses, and surpasses them in some parameters. The main advantages of this type of lens are: Impact resistance Durability Light weight The Lectio Risus reading glasses frame is equipped with flexes. Flex is a spring mechanism that complements the hinge for attaching glasses to the frame. Thanks to the flexes, the attachment of the temples becomes more resistant to damage. Glasses with flexes retain their shape longer, while in ordinary glasses, sooner or later, a distortion of the arms may appear. Besides, glasses with flexes are more comfortable to wear,as the spring mechanism makes the fit of the temples softer, without allowing the head to be squeezed. The glasses are supplied in a silicone case.
