Lauritin-C injection solution 100ml
DESCRIPTION
Lauritin-C - a veterinary drug is a sterile, transparent colorless or light yellow liquid with a specific camphor odor.
COMPOSITION
1.0 cm3 of the preparation contains the main active ingredients - ascorbic acid - 10.0 mg; camphor - 1.0 mg; butafosfan - 32.0 mg and excipients - glucose monohydrate - 2.0 mg; magnesium chloride - 0.13 mg; calcium chloride - 0.9 mg / ml; magnesium sulfate - 0.08 mg; neutral ingredients - stabilizers, preservatives and water for injection.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Lauritin-C has cardiac stimulating, analeptic, antihistamine, antiaggregative and antioxidant effects on the animal body due to the presence of a balanced composition of biologically available ingredients in its composition. It stimulates the restoration of the general resistance of the body by stabilizing its hormonal background, correcting the functions of the endocrine glands, energy metabolism and metabolism in general.
Ascorbic acid is an antioxidant, participates in the formation of collagen, the synthesis of corticosteroids, serotonin, interferon, in the process of immunomodulation, increasing the body's resistance to infections. Promotes phagocytosis, blood clotting, tissue regeneration, reduces vascular permeability, reduces the need for vitamins B1, B2, A, E, folic acid, pantothenic acid. Possesses antiaggregate properties. Maintains the colloidal state of the intercellular substance, normalizing capillary permeability and blood microcirculation.
It activates proteolytic enzymes, participates in the exchange of aromatic amino acids, pigments and cholesterol, promotes the accumulation of glycogen in the liver. It is metabolized mainly in the liver to deoxyascorbic and further to oxaloacetic and diketogulonic acids. It is excreted through the kidneys, intestines, with sweat and milk, in the form of unchanged ascorbate and metabolites.
Camphor, stimulating the central nervous system, has a stimulating effect on blood circulation, respiration and metabolic processes in the myocardium. With a weakening of tissue respiration of the myocardium, it normalizes oxidative processes, enhancing metabolism and increasing the sensitivity of the heart muscles to the influence of sympathetic nerves. Camphor tones the heart well during tachycardia, the heart rate slows down while increasing the contraction of a single impulse. The release of camphor from the body occurs by diffusion into the blood of regional microcapillaries. It is excreted through the kidneys, lungs and with bile in 2-3 days unchanged.
Butafosfan, which is part of the drug, has a stimulating effect on most metabolic processes in the body, increases the tone of smooth muscles, myocardium, and improves bone regeneration. Stimulates and normalizes metabolic and energy metabolism, improves the utilization of glucose in the blood, accelerates metabolic processes by stimulating the ADP-A TF cycle, protein synthesis. It is not deposited in organs and tissues and does not penetrate into milk. It is excreted from the body through the kidneys.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Lauritin-C is used for all types of productive and non-productive animals. It is an effective tool in the intensive care of critical conditions (shock) with multiple organ failure. In the treatment of various diseases associated with oppression of the respiratory, cardiovascular and hepatic-renal activity of the body, acute and chronic intoxication, including infectious diseases accompanied by fever. Thinns phlegm, helping to improve ventilation in the pulmonary system. Due to the stabilization of the hormonal background and energy metabolism, it is effective in metabolic disorders and to activate the general resistance of the body in order to reduce the recovery time after illness, difficult childbirth, hyperreactivity, stress, etc. It is used for premedication and in the post-anesthetic period.
Lauritin-C is administered intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously 1-2 times a day. Enter Slowly!
The dosage and duration of use is determined by the veterinarian individually, depending on the condition of the animal. Average doses: cattle, horses - 10-20 ml per animal; foals, calves 5-10 ml per animal; pigs, sheep, goats - 2-5 ml; dogs, cats - 1.0 -5.0 ml per animal; rabbits, minks - 0.2 - 0.5 ml per animal.
The drug is not toxic. If necessary, the dose can be doubled. Its daily use is allowed until the animal is fully recovered.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Do not mix with other drugs in the same syringe. Mixing with neutral liquids during infusion therapy is acceptable.
Slaughter of large, small ruminants and pigs for meat is allowed no earlier than 3 days after the last use of the drug. Milk of dairy cows and sheep may be used no earlier than 3 days after the last use of the drug. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period can be used as feed for fur animals.
SIDE EFFECTS
Side effects: use with caution in females during pregnancy and lactation. A single passing vomiting is possible with an intravenous jet. Intramuscular and subcutaneous jet injection causes a painful reaction.
