Pharmacological action
The lactic acid bacteria that are part of the preparation Ecofemin normalize, maintain and regulate the physiological balance of the vaginal microflora.
Indications
The drug is intended for:
normalization of the vaginal microflora
prevention and treatment of diseases caused by imbalance of the vaginal microflora, including as a second stage of treatment of bacterial vaginosis, non-specific vulvovaginitis, hormone-dependent colpitis
prevention prophylaxis treatment plans gynecological operations diagnostic invasive procedures
prevention of ascending infection in childbirth during prenatal preparation
restoration of the vaginal microflora after systemic and local antibiotic therapy.
Contraindications
Vaginal candidiasis.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Composition
1 vaginal capsule contains:
active substance: Lactobacillus Acidophilus LaCH-2> 108 bacteria.
excipients: Magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate.
capsule shell composition: Gelatin.
Dosage and administration
Therapeutic dose: 1vaginal capsule 2 times a day for 6 days. If necessary, according to the doctor's prescription, the course of treatment is repeated.
Prophylactic dose: 1 vaginal capsule at night for 3-7 days.
Treatment and prevention should be carried out before the expected menstruation or immediately after menstruation.
Ecofemin without applicator: the vaginal capsule is inserted with your finger as deep as possible into the vagina.
Ecofemin with applicator: a vaginal capsule is placed on the tip of the applicator. An applicator with a capsule inserted is inserted as deep as possible into the vagina. The inner tube of the applicator is advanced, the applicator is removed and discarded.
