PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The progestogen, acetobumedone, which is part of the drug, blocks the media-basal zones in the hypothalamus, releasing phytoplasmic hormones (follicle-stimulating and luteinizing hormones), which are the trigger mechanism for the secretion of gonadotropins by the pituitary gland for follicle-stimulating (FSH) hormones and the development of ovaries in the ovaries (FSH) ...
Estrogen - ethinyl estradiol in combination with acetobumedone enhances the contraceptive effect, changing the biological properties of vaginal mucus, the viscosity of the cervix, which inhibits sperm motility, and changes in the endometrium of the uterus prevent the implantation of a fertilized egg.
INDICATIONS
It is used to regulate sexual heat (interruption and delay of estrus), to prevent unwanted pregnancies in cats and bitches.
APPLICATION
The drug is administered orally by dripping into the mouth or onto a treat.
To relieve sexual arousal in cats and bitches, the contraceptive drug is recommended to be used daily 1 time per day for 3-5 days for cats, 2 times a day with an interval of 12 hours for 5-7 days for bitches at the first signs of sexual arousal.
The daily dose of the drug depends on the body weight of the animal and is:

For cats, the duration of the course to maintain the calming effect is no more than 18 consecutive months. A repeated course to maintain the sedative effect is possible after the resumption of estrus. For bitches it is recommended to carry out a course to delay estrus no more than 2 times a year. CONTRAINDICATIONS
The drug KontrSeks Neo drops for cats and bitches is contraindicated in young animals in the first estrus due to the difficulty of determining the time of the beginning of sexual activity. The drug is contraindicated in animals that have not reached puberty, pregnant and lactating cats and bitches, as well as with neoplasms of the mammary glands and genitals.
Contraindicated in cats and bitches suffering from urolithiasis, diabetes mellitus, with individual intolerance to the components of the drug. It is not recommended for cats and bitches to give a drug intended for cats and males, due to the different hormonal levels of females and males.
STORAGE
Store the drug in a sealed original packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separate from food and feed, at temperatures from 0 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of production.
