DESCRIPTION

CHARACTERISTIC

Family - Actinidiaceae.

Actinidia chinensis is a climbing shrub or powerful liana with stems covered with red-brown bark. Young shoots are pubescent over the entire surface with dense tomentose hairs that have a reddish color. In home growing conditions, the length of the shoots must be constantly adjusted by pruning. The leaves are large, leathery, rounded, with a heart-shaped base, dark green on the outside and white-tomentose on the back, pubescent along the veins with bristly red hairs, equipped with long pubescent petioles. Flowers are white-cream, single or collected in inflorescences of 3 pieces, are formed in the leaf axils. The fruits are ovoid, almost spherical or oblong-ovate, up to 5-6 cm in diameter. The flesh of the fruit is white, green, brownish or yellowish, with a sweet-sour taste and aroma.

The best place to grow kiwi would be a heated veranda, a heated loggia, or a room with large windows. Lighting should be bright throughout the day, additional lighting will be required in autumn and winter. However, in hot summer weather, actinidia must be shaded from the burning rays of the sun. Kiwi loves humid air, it should be humidified constantly.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Pour expanded clay on the bottom of the plastic pot, and on top pour fertile soil, leaving a small amount of earth in the bag.

Place the pot on a tray lid. Excess water when watering through the drainage holes in the pot will accumulate on the lid.

Sprinkle generously with room temperature water.

Spread the seeds evenly over the soil surface.

Sprinkle the seeds with a layer of the remaining fertile soil (1-2 mm) and compact it slightly.

Pour water at room temperature again and cover with transparent plastic, airing once a day.

Keep fertile soil moist at all times (watering 2-4 times a week). It is better to use a spray bottle during seed germination.

Choose a place well lit by the sun for your pet. A window sill is ideal not on the south side to exclude prolonged direct exposure to sunlight. The optimal temperature regime is 20-25 В° C.

Be patient, seedlings will appear within 5-25 days. Remove the plastic after emergence.

When your pet gets cramped, transplant it into a larger pot.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Expiration date - 20 months from the date of production. Store in a dry place protected from sunlight at temperatures from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C.
