DESCRIPTION

Collar KiltiksВ® is a combined insectoacaricidal drug. KiltixВ® is available as a 66 cm long collar for large breed dogs.

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE

Propoxur (0.1 g) and flumethrin (0.0225 g).

INDICATIONS

The KiltixВ® collar is used to kill fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks parasitizing dogs. Continuous use of the KiltixВ® collar protects animals from insects and ixodid ticks for 6 months.

APPLICATION

The KiltixВ® Collar can be used in dogs over 3 months of age. The use of the collar for pregnant and lactating animals is possible after consulting a veterinarian. The KiltixВ® collar is used continuously during the season of parasite activity.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The active components that make up the KiltixВ® collar, propoxur and flumethrin, are gradually released from the surface of the tape, are transferred to the skin and hair of the animal, accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands, and have a synergistic contact insectoacaricidal effect on insects and ixodid ticks, parasitizing on dogs.

EFFICIENCY

Continuous use of the KiltixВ® collar protects animals from insects and ixodid ticks for 6 months. In the first days of using the collar, the attack and attachment of ixodid ticks to the animal is possible, but after 1-2 days the parasites spontaneously disappear. The effectiveness of the drug depends on the condition of the dog's coat, therefore, before using it, dogs with hard, matted or dirty hair are recommended to be thoroughly washed with a pet shampoo.

SIDE EFFECTS

As a rule, there are no side effects and complications when using the KiltixВ® Collar in accordance with this instruction. In rare cases, a dog may experience itching in the neck area at the beginning of collar use, which usually goes away spontaneously. If parts of the collar accidentally get inside the animal, symptoms of poisoning (vomiting, indigestion, salivation) are possible, in this case, the use of symptomatic therapy and anticholinergics is recommended.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Store in unopened original packaging, protected from light, out of reach of children and animals. Separated from food and feed at temperatures from 5 to 30 В° C. The shelf life is 5 years.
