- Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, or other NSAIDs.
- Hemorrhoids, proctitis.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use of the drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Composition
1 suppository contains: ketoprofen 100 mg.
Excipients: semi-synthetic solid glycerides, silicon colloidal anhydrous.
Dosage and administration
Reticulated 1 suppository 1-2 times / day. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 300 mg.
Side effects of the
From the digestive system: possible pain in the stomach, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence rarely - bleeding in the digestive tract with rectal administration - tenesmus, loose stools.
From the side of the central nervous system: rarely - asthenia, headache, dizziness.
Local reactions: with rectal administration - burning.
Other: rarely - transient dysuria, skin rash with external use - allergic skin reactions (itching, urticaria).
Drug Interaction
Because ketoprofen is highly protein bound, doses of anticoagulants, diphenylhydantoin, or sulfur-containing drugs should be reduced.
