Pharmacological action of
NSAIDs, a derivative of propionic acid. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. The pronounced analgesic effect of ketoprofen is due to two mechanisms: peripheral (indirectly, through suppression of prostaglandin synthesis) and central (due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as the effect on the biological activity of other neurotropic substances that play a key role in the release of mediators of pain in the spinal cord). In addition, ketoprofen has anti-bradykinin activity, stabilizes lysosomal membranes, and causes a significant inhibition of neutrophil activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Indications

Contraindications
For oral administration: erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract in the acute phase, aspirin triad, severe dysfunction of the liver and / or kidneys III trimester of pregnancy up to 15 years of age (for retard tablets), increased sensitivity to ketoprofen and salicylates.
For rectal administration: a history of rectal proctitis and bleeding.
For external use: weeping dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds.
Use during pregnancy and lactation

Dosage and administration
Set individually depending on the clinical situation.

Side effects of the

With the simultaneous use of ketoprofen with other NSAIDs, the risk of developing erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract and bleeding with antihypertensive agents (including beta-blockers, inhibitors, inhibitors, diuretics) - possibly reducing their action with thrombolytics - increasing the risk of bleeding.
At simultaneous use with acetylsalicylic acid it is possible to decrease the binding of ketoprofen with blood plasma proteins and increase its plasma clearance with heparin, ticlopidine - increase the risk of bleeding with lithium preparations - it is possible to increase the concentration of lithium in plasma due to the decrease in plasma.
When used with diuretics, the risk of kidney failure is increased due to a decrease in renal blood flow caused by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis and against hypovolemia.
When co-administered with probenecid, a decrease in ketoprofen clearance and its binding to blood plasma proteins with methotrexate is possible - an increase in the side effect of methotrexate is possible.
When co-administered with warfarin, severe, sometimes fatal bleeding may occur.
Overdose
No cases of overdose with Artrozilen have been reported at this time.
In the event of an overdose, symptomatic therapy, monitoring of respiratory and cardiovascular activity should be performed. There is no specific antidote. Hemodialysis is ineffective.
