ketoconazole.
Action
Antifungal agent, has activity against dermatophytes, yeast, dimorphic fungi and emumitseta. The mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of ergosterol fungi.
Dosage and administration
Shampoo is applied to fungal areas of the skin and scalp, after which it is washed off with warm water after 3-5 minutes.
In case of mold mycoses, the optimal dose is 1 time per day for 5 days, and for the prevention of mycoses, for 3 days 1 time per day.
In the treatment of seborrhea, a shampoo at a concentration of 1% is used every 3-4 days, the course of treatment is 7-8 weeks, to prevent the appearance of dandruff, shampoo is used when possible symptoms of seborrhea appear.
In case of seborrheic dermatitis, apply 2% shampoo twice a week. The course of treatment is from 2 to 4 weeks, for prevention - once a week.
In case of pityriasis deprivation, shampoo at a concentration of 2% is applied to the affected skin for 3-5 minutes, after which it is thoroughly washed off with water.
