Description

Kenotest (Kenotest inci pump) - used to determine the number of somatic cells in milk. For the diagnosis of mastitis; to assess the quality of milk in the dairy industry; convenient and quick test for somatic cells; identification of subclinical and clinical mastitis. Ease of use, accuracy and efficiency of this test system allow it to be used as an express method to control the number of somatic cells when receiving milk at dairy factories.

Application

Application procedure

Strain the first three streams of milk containing a large number of somatic cells and microorganisms into a separate container.

From each udder lobe, strain some milk into the corresponding bowls of the test plate.

Pour out excess milk (up to the level indicator line).

While pushing the dosing pump stem one time, pour a portion of reagent (2 ml) into each bowl.

Stir the reagent with the milk in a light circular motion. After a few seconds, interpret the test according to the figure. Pour the tested mixture and rinse the cups with clean water.
