Kalfoset solution for injection 100ml
Composition and form of release: Sterile injection solution containing in 100 ml: calcium gluconate - 32.82 g, calcium glycerophosphate - 8.93 g, magnesium chloride - 4.18 g. In appearance it is a clear solution with a yellowish tinge.
Pharmacological properties: Calcium which is a part of the preparation stimulates the function of the cardiovascular system, helps to reduce the degree of protein dispersion, permeability of blood vessels, plays an important role in the process of blood coagulation. Phosphorus is an integral part of nucleoproteins and phospholipids. He takes part in all the processes of assimilation in the body of the animal, has a positive effect on the metabolism in the tissues of the body. Magnesium participates in the metabolism of phosphorus and carbohydrates as a coenzyme - its lack in the body causes increased excitability in the animal.
Indications: Treatment of animals during tetany (during pregnancy, lactation, during transportation, grazing, etc.); paresis caused by a lack of calcium, phosphorus, etc.; metabolic disorders of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium (rickets, osteodystrophy, osteomalacia, pregnancy, etc.); poisoning with lead, fluorine, oxalic acid (as an additional agent in complex treatment); toxicosis, allergies.
Doses and method of administration: The drug is administered to animals intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously in the following doses:

Assign to animals once. It is allowed to re-use the drug after 24 hours at the doses shown in the table. Cattle should not be injected subcutaneously into the same place more than 50 ml of the drug, more than 25 ml cannot be injected intramuscularly. Sheep and goats should not be injected intramuscularly in the same place more than 15 ml of the drug. The drug is injected into the vein slowly and evenly.
Side effects: Not observed in recommended amounts.
Contraindications: It is not recommended to prescribe simultaneously with digitalis preparations, vitamin D and its analogues.
Special instructions: Livestock products after application of the drug can be used without any restrictions.
