DESCRIPTION

Insect-acaricidal checkers Whirlwind (Shashki incecto-akaricidnye Vichr) for disinsection and deacarization of livestock buildings. In appearance, checkers are a loose powder of dark brown or black color.

COMPOSITION

They contain permethrin (5%) as an active ingredient, and a thermal mixture as auxiliary components: fuel peat and ammonium nitrate.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The aerosol of permethrin, obtained by sublimation of the Vortex checker, has a pronounced contact and intestinal effect on ectoparasites living in livestock buildings, including flies, mosquitoes, bedclothes, chicken, Persian and ixodid ticks.

According to the degree of effect on the body, the agent belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not have a local irritant, sensitizing and skin resorptive effect. Toxic to fish and bees.

PURPOSE

Insect-acaricidal checkers Vortex are used for disinsection and deacarization of livestock, including poultry, fur farming and other objects of veterinary supervision in the absence of animals.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The optimal effective concentration of the resulting thermal aerosol of permethrin is (per 1 m3): against mosquitoes - 5 mg; against flies -7 mg; against chicken ticks - 60 mg; against bed bugs, ixodid and Persian ticks - 80 mg.

The consumption rate of checkers is determined based on the effective concentration of the active substance (permethrin) and the volume of the room to be treated.

For example, the volume of the room to be treated against flies is 4000 m 3, the optimal dose of permethrin is 7 mg / m 3 • Therefore, 28000 mg (7 mg / m 3 x 4000 m 3) will be required for treatment, which will be 6 blocks weighing 100 g or 3 checkers weighing 200 g.

Before processing, animals are taken out of the room, the surfaces are thoroughly cleaned of the remnants of feed, manure and other substrates that are places of breeding of flies, the room is sealed (windows and doors are closed), the supply and exhaust ventilation is turned off, milk, milk dishes and milking units are removed. In poultry houses, eggs, feed and water residues are removed. The service staff leaves the premises during processing.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Immediately before processing, the checkers are placed along the room on the floor (concrete, cement), and if the floor is wooden, a non-combustible object is placed under the checker. The duration of thermal sublimation of 100 g checkers is at least 15 minutes, 200 g - at least 20 minutes, 500 g - at least 30 minutes, 1000 g - at least 45 minutes. The exposure of treatment against mosquitoes, flies is 1 hour, against bugs and ticks 2 hours. At the end of the exposure, ventilation is turned on and ventilation is carried out for at least 2 hours. The entrance to the premises of the service personnel without gas masks and the placement of animals is allowed no earlier than 30 minutes after airing. The dead insects and ticks are removed, after which the feeders, drinkers are washed, the containers are disinfected with a 3% solution of soda.

Insect-acaricidal checkers Vortex are stored in the packaging of the manufacturing organization, in a well-ventilated, dry warehouse equipped with fire-fighting equipment, in a place protected from light, away from sources of open fire and heating devices, separately from food and feed, at a temperature of FROM 10 В° C TO 40 В° C.
