As part of complex therapy:
immunocorrection for bacterial, fungal and viral infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract;
immunocorrection for bacterial, fungal and viral infections of the urinary tract.
Adults - 800 mg 2 times / day outside meals for 15 days. Children over 3 years old - 400 mg 2 times / day outside meals for 15 days. Maximum doses: for adults - 1.6 g / day, for children - 800 mg / day
The oral solution is red-violet in color, transparent, with the smell of wild berries.

Excipients: sodium chloride - 5.6 mg, sodium saccharinate - 5 mg, disodium edetate - 3.5 mg, trometamol - qs to pH 6.5, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate - 10.3 mg, sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate - 1.6 mg, sorbitol 70% - 2500 mg, fruit flavor ( with the smell of wild berries) - 21 mg, anthocyanin dye - 5.6 mg, crimson dye [Ponso 4R] - 0.5 mg, purified water - up to 7 ml.
Children under 3 years old,
hypersensitivity to pidotimod.
pharmachologic effect
Immunostimulating agent. Pidotimod stimulates and regulates cellular and humoral immunity in conditions of immunodeficiency. Effect on T-cell immunity: enhances the activity of natural killer cells and activates phagocytosis. Action on humoral immunity: increases the production of cytokines.
Pharmacokinetics
When taken orally, bioavailability is 45%. T1 / 2 - 4 h.
Side effect
Possibly: allergic reactions.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).
In experimental studies on animals, no embryotoxic and teratogenic effects have been identified.
Application in children
Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age.

Use with caution in patients with hyperimmunoglobulinemia E syndrome, a history of allergic reactions.
Drug interactions
Pidotimod can affect the effectiveness of drugs that suppress or stimulate the functional activity of lymphocytes.
