ImmunalЃ is recommended for use:

- to strengthen the immune system in patients with uncomplicated acute infectious diseases, a predisposition to frequent colds;

-for the prevention of colds and flu;

- as an adjunct drug for long-term antibiotic therapy of chronic infectious diseases, accompanied by a decrease in immunity.

Pills

For young children, it is recommended to crush the tablet and mix with a little liquid. Adults and adolescents over 12 years old: 1 tab. 3-4 times a day; children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 table. 1-3 times a day; children aged 4 to 6 years: 1 table. 1-2 times a day.

To achieve a therapeutic effect, ImmunalЃ should be taken for at least 1 week. The duration of a continuous course of treatment should not exceed 8 weeks.

excipients: colloidal silicon dioxide; lactose; magnesium stearate; sodium saccharinate; vanillin; cherry flavor

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation and to plants of the Asteraceae family;

• progressive systemic and autoimmune diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS or HIV infection;

• children under 1 year of age (for oral solution) or up to 4 years (for tablets).

pharmachologic effect

Herbal remedy. Echinacea purpurea herb contains water-soluble immunostimulating polysaccharides (4-O-methylglucuronylarabinoxylans, acid arabinoramno-galactans); essential oils (components include germacrene alcohol, borneol, bornyl acetate, pentadeca-8-en-2-one, germacrene D, caryophylline, caryophylline epoxide); flavonoids (ferulic acid its derivatives, including chicoric acid, methyl ester of chicoric acid, 2-O-caffeoyl-3-O-feruloyl tartaric acid, 2,3-O-diferuloyl tartaric acid, 2-O-caffeoyl tartaric acid ); alkamides; polyenes.

It has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory effects. Polysaccharides increase the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages, stimulate the production of interleukin-1. The complex of active substances induces the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, improves the function of T-helpers. Thanks to inulin, levulose, betaine improves metabolic processes, especially in the liver and kidneys.

Side effect

Possibly: allergic reactions; when used in high doses - nausea, vomiting, stool disturbances, insomnia, increased excitability of the nervous system.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Should not be used during pregnancy.

Application in children

Contraindicated in children under 4 years of age (for the dosage form - tablets), and up to 1 year (for the dosage form - drops).

Patients with recurrent respiratory infections require regular medical monitoring.

During the period of use of echinacea, you should not prescribe other immunostimulating drugs.
