DESCRIPTION

Ichthyol ointment 10% (Unguentum Ichtyoli 10%) is a drug in the form of an ointment containing 10 g of ichthyol as an active ingredient in 100 g and 90 g of medical or veterinary petrolatum as an auxiliary substance.

The drug is a dark brown ointment with the smell of ichthyol.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The ointment has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. When applied to wounds, it narrows blood vessels, reduces secretion and exudation, and also accelerates the regeneration of damaged tissue.

PURPOSE

Ichthyol ointment is prescribed for diseases of the hooves, skin (burns, wounds, eczema, dermatitis, furunculosis, pyoderma), as well as for arthritis, neuralgia, tendinitis, tendovaginitis, bursitis, mastitis.

STORAGE

Store at temperatures between 10 В° C and 25 В° C. Shelf life is 2 years.

Do not use after the expiration date.
