Hypodectin injection 10ml

DESCRIPTION

Injectable hypodectin is a drug in the form of a solution for injection. The drug is intended to combat hypodermatosis, dictyocaulosis in cattle and edemagenosis and cephenomyosis of reindeer.

COMPOSITION

1 ml contains 0.1 mg of ivermectin and excipients as an active ingredient.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Ivermectin, the active ingredient of HYPODECTIN injection, has a systemic effect on gadfly larvae and pathogens of dictyocaulosis in cattle, as well as on the larvae of reindeer gadflies. Entering the body of the parasite, ivermectin stimulates the release of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid by the nerve endings. Thus, it blocks the passage of nerve impulses and causes paralysis, and then the death of the parasite in the animal's body.

Injection hypodectin is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals: LD50 for white mice when administered orally is 7800 mg / kg of body weight, when administered subcutaneously - 19500 mg / kg. Hazard class IV according to GOST 12.1.007-76.

In therapeutic doses, it is non-toxic to cattle and deer, does not cause irritation at the injection sites.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

The drug is injected subcutaneously in the lower third of the neck for adult animals at a dose of 3 ml, for young animals weighing up to 150 kg - 2 ml once, deer weighing up to 50 kg - 1 ml, over 50 kg - 2 ml subcutaneously or intramuscularly once.

For the purpose of early chemotherapy of hypodermatosis and dictyocaulosis, cattle are treated in autumn in October - November; reindeer against edemagenosis and cephenomyosis - depending on the zone: in August, September, October. All livestock of the herd are treated.

In the spring (late March - early April), when the first fistulous capsules (nodules) appear on the back of cattle with an extensiveness of damage of more than 3%, all livestock are treated, in May only affected by the larvae of animals.

For animals with dictyocaulosis, the drug is used once in July, August, September.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 5 days after the last use of the drug.

Milk from treated animals is used without restriction.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Not installed.

SIDE EFFECTS

Not observed when used correctly.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

3 years subject to the rules of storage and transportation (unopened original packaging, dry, dark place, away from heat sources and open flame, temperature not higher than 30 В° C.
