Pharmacological action

Mastodinone is a combined homeopathic medicine.

It has a dopaminergic effect, due to which the secretion of prolactin by the adenohypophysis is reduced.

In this case, the production of gonadotropic hormones of the pituitary gland is normalized, which leads to the elimination of insufficiency of the corpus luteum and associated menstrual irregularities and infertility.

With a decrease in the prolactin content, prerequisites are created for the reverse development of the pathological process in case of fibrocystic mastopathy. In this case, the therapeutic effect occurs, as a rule, after 6 weeks.

Indications

As a symptomatic remedy as recommended by a doctor in the treatment of: - premenstrual syndrome (mammary tension, mental lability, constipation, edema, headache / migraine)

- fibrocystic mastopathy

- menstrual irregularities, and / or infertility caused by insufficiency of the corpus luteum.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

100 g drops contain as active substances:

Vitex agnus castus (Agnus castus) D1 - 20 g

Caulophyllum thalictroides D4 - 10 g

Cyclamen europaeum (Cyclamen) D4 - 10 g

Strychnos ignatii (Ignatia) D6 - 10 g

Irisicolkris Iris Lilium lancifolium (Lilium tigrinum) D3 - 10 g

Auxiliary component:

47.0-53.0% (in volume ratio).

Dosage and administration

Use 30 drops 2 times a day (morning and evening), diluting them slightly with water or another liquid. Shake well before use.

Mastodinone should be taken for at least 3 months, including during menstruation.

Improvement usually occurs after 6 weeks. If complaints are resumed after discontinuation of treatment, then therapy should be continued after consultation with your doctor.

Side effects

Allergic reactions possible.

In very rare cases, stomach pain, nausea, slight weight gain, itchy exanthema, acne and headaches, as well as temporary psychomotor agitation, confusion, and hallucinations may occur due to the content of Agnus castus.
