Indications

The drug is used in adults in the complex treatment of diseases accompanied by secondary immunodeficiency conditions:

acute and chronic purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues, including purulent-septic postoperative complications of sexually transmitted infection with chrdavirus infection papillomavirus papillomas

herpetic infection (including ophthalmic herpes)

psoriasis (including psoriatic arthritis)

pulmonary tuberculosis.

Contraindications

pregnancy and lactation

children under 18 years of age

autoimmune thyroiditis in the acute phase of

congenital metabolic disorders: alactasia, galactosemia, lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, sucrose / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption

use in autoimmune diseases is not recommended due to lack of clinical data.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Taking LikopidВ® 1 mg is contraindicated in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Composition

Active ingredient: glucosaminylmuramyl dipeptide (GMDP) - 10.0 mg. Excipients: lactose monohydrate - 184.7 mg, sugar (sucrose) - 12.5 mg, potato starch - 40 mg, methyl cellulose - 0, 3 mg, calcium stearate - 2.5 mg.

Dosage and administration

Likopid® is used orally on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before meals.

Elderly patients are recommended to start treatment with half doses (1/2 of the therapeutic), in the absence of side effects, increase the dose of the drug to the necessary therapeutic.

If you missed the drug, if no more than 12 hours have passed from the planned time, you can take the missed dose if more than 12 hours have passed from the planned time, you need to take only the next dose according to the scheme and not take the missed one.

Purulent-inflammatory diseases of the skin and soft tissues, acute and chronic, severe course, including purulent-septic postoperative complications: 10 mg once a day for 10 days

Herpetic infection (recurrent, severe): 10 mg 1 time per day for 6 days

- with ophthalmic herpes: 10 mg 2 times a day for 3 days. After a break of 3 days, the treatment is repeated.

Sexually transmitted infections (human papillomavirus infection, chronic trichomoniasis):

for human papillomavirus infection: 10 mg once a day for 10 days,

for chronic trichomoniasis: 10 mg 1 time per day for 10 days.

Psoriasis: 10-20 mg 1 time per day for 10 days and then five doses every other day, 10-20 mg 1 time per day.

In severe psoriasis and extensive lesions (including psoriatic arthritis): 10 mg 2 times a day for 20 days.

Pulmonary tuberculosis: 10 mg once daily for 10 days.

Side effects

Often (1-10%) - at the beginning of treatment, there may be a short-term increase in body temperature to subfebrile values ​​(up to 37.9 РC), which is not an indication for drug withdrawal.

Rarely (0.01-0.1%) - short-term increase in body temperature to febrile values ​​(> 38.0 РC). With an increase in body temperature greater than 38, 0 РC, it is possible to take antipyretic drugs, which does not reduce the pharmacological effects of Likopid® tablets.

Very rarely (less than 0.01%) - diarrhea.

If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions are aggravated, or you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, inform your doctor.

Drug Interaction

The drug increases the effectiveness of antimicrobials, synergism with antiviral and antifungal agents is noted. Antacids and sorbents significantly reduce the bioavailability of the drug. Glucocorticosteroids reduce the biological effect of Lycopid®.

overdose

The drug overdose is unknown.

Based on the pharmacological properties of the drug, in the event of its overdose, a rise in body temperature to subfebrile (up to 37.9 РC) values ​​may be observed. If necessary, symptomatic therapy (antipyretics) is performed, sorbents are prescribed. The specific antidote is unknown.
