pharmachologic effect

The drug has a hepatoprotective and detoxifying effect.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The main action of Hepatosan is caused by xenogenic hepatocytes with their components that are biologically compatible with the macromolecular composition of the human body. Moreover, its action occurs in two phases: intestinal, with the manifestation of a detoxification effect, provided by the sorption of toxic products in the gastrointestinal tract, and metabolic, due to which the activity of the liver is restored. The preparation contains various amino acids, vitamins and useful microelements. It also contains essential phospholipids, cytochromes and mesenchymal enzymes.

The manifestation of detoxification properties occurs due to the sorption and removal of toxic products from the gastrointestinal tract, volatile fatty acids with their isomers, which are considered high molecular weight substances, for example, valerian, isovalerian, nylon and others.

It should be noted that the basis of the adsorbing properties is the delay in the absorption of metabolites contained in the microflora of the large intestine.

The development of membrane stabilizing properties occurs in the form of protection against toxins of biological membranes by inhibiting their capture by hepatocytes and simultaneous normalization of cell membranes.

An increase in the detoxifying function of hepatocytes occurs due to an increase in the concentration of glutathione and the activity of the main redox enzymes.

Due to the presence of amino acids, the protein-synthetic properties of Hepatosan are manifested, which ensures the replenishment of their deficiency and the production of the required amount of proteins, the normalization of metabolism, and the improvement of sorption and elimination of toxic substances.
