Hepatolux for cats 20 tablets
DESCRIPTION
Gepatolux for cats is a drug for the treatment and prevention of liver diseases in cats. In appearance, Hepatolux is a round-shaped yellow-brown tablet.
COMPOSITION
In one tablet, the active ingredients are: methionine - 70 mg, essential phospholipids (lecithin) of plant origin from soy seeds - 50 mg, L-arginine - 25 mg, L-ornithine - 25 mg, field artichoke leaf extract - 20 mg, milk thistle seed extract spotted (silymarin) - 15 mg, glycyrrhizic acid salt - 10 mg, glycine - 10 mg, royal jelly extract - 1 mg and auxiliary components: corn starch, calcium stearate, lactose.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The active components of the Hepatolux preparation contribute to the normalization of protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, have pronounced hepatoprotective properties, increase the antioxidant, barrier, homeostatic and metabolic functions of the liver. Extracts of medicinal plants have a choleretic, hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic (lowering blood sugar) effect, accelerate the process of deposition of substances in the liver. Methionine is an essential amino acid that regulates nitrogen balance in the body. Contains a mobile methyl group and participates in methylation processes that provide the synthesis of choline, adrenaline, creatine, and other biologically important compounds, neutralize toxic products and the formation of phospholipids. Inhibits the deposition of neutral fat in the liver,
Essential phospholipids (lecithin) belong to the class of highly specialized lipids and are esters of glycerophosphoric acid. They are the main elements in the structure of the cell membrane and mitochondria, regulate lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, improve the functional state of the liver and its detoxification function, contribute to the preservation and restoration of the structure of hepatocytes; inhibit the formation of connective tissue in the liver. L-arginine and L-ornithine are amino acids that accelerate the excretion of protein metabolic products from the body, lower cholesterol levels, improve the functioning of enzymatic systems and tissue trophism. Help protect the liver from toxic effects.
Field artichoke leaf extract has a choleretic, detoxifying, hepatoprotective, hypolipidemic and diuretic effect. Increases the excretion of urea, toxins (nitro compounds, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals) from the body, helps to reduce blood cholesterol.
Milk thistle extract (silymarin) has antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing properties, prevents the accumulation of lipid hydroperoxides, thereby reducing damage to liver cells and slowing down the intake of toxic substances into them.
Glycyrrhizic acid salt stimulates bile secretion and improves liver function, has antiviral, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effects. Glycine is a regulator of metabolism, normalizes and activates the processes of protective inhibition in the central nervous system, increases the endurance of the animal. It has antioxidant and antitoxic effects.
Royal jelly extract promotes rapid recovery and removal of toxic substances, poisons and heavy metals from the body, normalizes intraorgan pressure, increases the immune system, improves kidney and liver function, lowers blood sugar, and also has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, cardioprotective and adaptogenic act.
PURPOSE
Hepatolux is used in cats for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the liver (hepatitis, hepatosis, fatty degeneration of the liver), gallbladder and biliary tract of various origins. The complex composition of the drug helps to regenerate liver cells, improve enzymatic activity, normalize all types of metabolism, increase appetite and digestibility of food in animals. The drug is effective for intoxication, poisoning and dehydration; reduces the side effects of chemotherapeutic, antiparasitic and other drugs with hepatotoxicity. Hepatolux improves the properties of bile and reduces the risk of gallstones in the animal. The use of the drug significantly reduces the risk of cirrhosis and liver cancer in animals.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Hepatolux is administered to a cat individually, during feeding, at a dose of 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, 2 times a day. The course of application is 20-30 days, depending on the individual characteristics of the organism and the nature of the course of the disease. If necessary, at the direction of the veterinarian, the drug can be resumed after 10 days. In a chronic course, the course of treatment is repeated several times a year.
The use of Hepatolux does not exclude the use of other etiotropic and pathogenetic drugs. The drug is prescribed independently or as part of complex therapy. If one or more doses of the drug are missed, its use is resumed in the same doses and according to the same scheme. The peculiarities of the action of the drug during the first administration and withdrawal have not been established.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Individual hypersensitivity to drug components.
It is not recommended to administer to animals with hepatic encephalopathy and severe renal failure.
