Hamaret syringe 10ml
DESCRIPTION
Gamaret intramammary suspension (Gamaret intramamarni suspense) is an antibacterial drug in the form of a suspension for intracisternal administration, intended for the treatment of mastitis in cows during lactation.
ADVANTAGES
Anti-inflammatory, bactericidal and analgesic effect
Rapid relief of inflammation, pain and stress in an animal
The most economical drug with a similar composition
COMPOSITION
As active ingredients: 100 mg of sodium novobiocin, 105 mg of neomycin sulfate, 100,000 IU of penicillin procaine, 100 mg of dihydrostreptomycin sulfate and 10 mg of prednisolone, and as auxiliary substances of aluminum, monostearate and peanut oil.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The complex of antibiotics (novobiocin, neomycin, penicillin procaine, dihydrostreptomycin), which are part of the drug, has a bactericidal effect against the most commonly isolated gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in mastitis - Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium and Escherichia. Novobiocin inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall by inactivating the enzyme; Neomycin sulfate inhibits protein synthesis at the level of the 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby disrupting the integrity of the bacterial cell wall, thus exerting a bactericidal effect. Dihydrostreptomycin ensures the action of the drug on E. coli, resistant to the action of neomycin, and at the same time potentiates the action of penicillin on the streptococcal microflora, and prednisolone, which is part of the drug,
Hamaret intramammary suspension, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007), does not show a local irritating effect on the udder tissue.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Hamaret intramammary suspension is used to treat mastitis in lactating cows caused by gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysagalactiae, Streptococcus uberis and Escherichia coli.
Before using the drug, milk (secret) from diseased udder quarters is milked completely and disposed of. A sick quarter of the udder and nipple are washed with warm water and soap and dried with a sterile gauze napkin, then a syringe cannula is inserted into the nipple canal and the contents are carefully squeezed out. After that, the cannula is removed, the tip of the nipple is pinched with fingers and the nipple is lightly massaged from the bottom up for 1-2 minutes for better drug distribution. In severe mastitis, the administration of the drug is repeated after 24 or 48 hours. Hamaret is administered intracisternally.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Contraindications to the use of Gamaret intramammary suspension have not been established, with the exception of individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. In the case of individual sensitivity of animals, the development of allergic reactions is possible.
SIDE EFFECTS
