Grammidin with anesthetic is a combined drug for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity.

The composition of the drug includes: antimicrobial agent gramicidin C, local anesthetic lidocaine, anti-inflammatory emollient components menthol and eucalyptus oil and sweeteners that improve taste.

Gramicidin C has an antimicrobial effect against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms - causative agents of infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx. The mechanism of its action is associated with an increase in the permeability of the membrane of the microbial cell, which violates its stability and causes death. When resorbed, it enhances salivation, helping to cleanse the oropharynx from microorganisms and inflammatory exudate. The anesthetic lidocaine hydrochloride provides the drug with a local analgesic effect on the inflamed mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. The analgesic effect of the drug is manifested directly at the time of resorption and lasts for 30-40 minutes after application.

Menthol and eucalyptus oil soothe discomfort, reduce inflammation and make it easier to swallow food for oral and throat problems.

Menthol additionally enhances the analgesic effect of lidocaine hydrochloride.

Mannitol and aspartame improve the taste of the drug.

Grammidin with anesthetic can be used in patients with contraindications or restrictions in the intake of sugar and sugar-containing drugs.

Grammidin tablets with anesthetic are applied after meals, by absorption in the mouth without chewing.

Immediately after using the drug, you should refrain from eating and drinking for 1-2 hours.

Dosage for children from 12 years of age and adults: 2 tablets (one after the other within 20-30 minutes) 4 times a day.

For children under 12 years of age: 1-2 tablets 4 times a day.
