DESCRIPTION

A medicinal product in the form of a solution for injection.

COMPOSITION

The drug contains 40 g of crystalline medical glucose or crystalline hydrate glucose as an active ingredient, and water for injection as a solvent.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Hypertonic glucose solutions increase the osmotic pressure of the blood, improve metabolic processes, the antitoxic function of the liver and heart function, dilate blood vessels, and increase diuresis. Glucose stimulates the synthesis of hormones and enzymes, increases the defenses of the animal body. After administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal.

INDICATIONS

Glucose 40% solution for injection is used in animals with large body fluid losses (bleeding, toxic dyspepsia), the phenomenon of shock, intoxication, metritis, vaginitis, as well as for dissolving various drugs.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Glucose 40% is administered intravenously. Depending on the severity of the disease, the drug is administered to animals 1-2 times a day in the following doses (cm? Per animal):

cattle - 75-370

horses - 75-300

small ruminants - 10-75

pigs - 20-75

dogs - 5-50

cats - 2-20

STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures from 0 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture.

PACKAGING

Packaged in 100 ml glass bottles sealed with aluminum caps.
