Pharmacological action

Bilobil Forte is a herbal preparation that improves cerebral and peripheral blood circulation. The biologically active substances of the extract of ginkgo biloba (flavone glycosides, terpene lactones) help strengthen and increase the elasticity of the vascular wall, improve the rheological properties of the blood. The use of Bilobil Forte leads to improved microcirculation, increases the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and peripheral tissues. It normalizes the metabolism in cells, prevents the aggregation of red blood cells, and inhibits platelet aggregation. Expands small arteries, increases vein tone, regulates blood vessels.

Pharmacokinetics

The pharmacokinetic parameters of ginkgo biloba extract are difficult to evaluate due to the multicomponent composition of the extract.

Indications

discirculatory encephalopathy of various etiologies (stroke, traumatic brain injury, old age), accompanied by decreased attention and / or memory, impaired intellectual ability, anxiety, fear, sleep disturbances

peripheral circulation disorders and microcirculation ( . arteriopathy of the lower extremities), Raynaud's syndrome

Contraindications

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Bilobil is not recommended for use during pregnancy and during lactation (breastfeeding).

Composition

1 capsule contains:

Active ingredients: dry standardized extract of leaves of ginkgo biloba 80 mg (80 mg of extract contains 19.2 mg of flavono glycosides of ginkgo and 4.8 mg of terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalides) , talc, colloidal silicon oxide, magnesium stearate.

Shell composition: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), gelatin, black dye PN (E151), dye blue V (E131), dye red 4R (E124), dye red 4R (E124), . With Left FCF (E110), titanium dioxide (E171)

Dosage and administration

Prescribe 1 caps. 2 times / day (morning and evening).

The duration of treatment should be at least 3 months, improvement is noted after 1 month of therapy.

If necessary, a second course of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Capsules should be swallowed whole with a little water.

Side effects

Rarely: allergic reactions (skin rash, itching), dyspepsia, headache.

Drug Interaction

Concomitant use of Bilobil Forte with acetylsalicylic acid or anticoagulants is not recommended.

Overdose

There have been no reports of overdose with Bilobil Forte at this time.
