COMPOSITION

PHARMOCOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Gestrenol tablets are a hormonal drug designed to regulate sexual desire in cats and cats. The hormones included in the drug: progestogen - mepregenol propionate and estrogen - ethinylestradiol, acting on the hypothalamic-pituitary system of animals, reduce the secretion of gonadotropic hormones from the pituitary gland (FSH and LH), which are responsible for folliculogenesis in females and spermatogenesis in males.

Mepregenol propionate and ethinyl estradiol are rapidly absorbed in the intestine and, biotransformed in the liver, are completely excreted in the urine in the form of metabolites within 48 hours.

According to the degree of impact on the body, Gestrenol tablets are classified as low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses they do not have a negative effect on the animal body.

APPLICATION
