Pharmacological action

Antibiotic broad-spectrum aminoglycoside group. Gentamicin-Akos has a bactericidal effect. Actively penetrating the cell membrane of bacteria, it irreversibly binds to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosomes and thereby inhibits the synthesis of the pathogen protein. Highly active against aerobic gram-negative bacteria, as well as against aerobic gram-positive cocci, some strains. Neisseria meningitidis, Treponema pallidum, some strains of Streptococcus spp., Anaerobic bacteria are resistant to Gentamicin.

Indications

Pyoderma (including gangrenous), superficial folliculitis, furunculosis, sycosis, paronychia, infected seborrheic dermatitis, infected acne, secondary bacterial infection with fungal and viral infections of the skin, infected skin wounds, various skin wounds, various etiology difficult healing ulcers, insect bites), infected varicose ulcers.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to gentamicin and other antibiotics of the aminoglycoside group, auditory nerve neuritis, severe renal impairment, uremia, pregnancy, lactation (breastfeeding).

Special instructions

Gentamicin-Akos is used with caution in case of parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis, impaired renal function.

Dosage and administration

Set individually, taking into account the severity and localization of the infection, the sensitivity of the pathogen. For external use, Gentamicin-Akos is used 3-4 times / day.

Side effects

Oliguria, proteinuria, microhematuria, renal failure, hearing loss, deafness, vestibular disorders, elevated hepatic transaminases, hyperbilirubinemia, anemia, leukopenia, granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, neuromuscular conduction disturbances, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, fever, rarely - Quin edema.
