Gedelix drops, 50ml; 'as an expectorant for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchi, accompanied by a cough with difficult to separate sputum.

ivy leaf extract (2.2-2.9: 1) 4 g

• hypersensitivity to drug components, incl. to mint oil;

• bronchial asthma;

• predisposition to laryngospasm;

• deficiency of arginine succinate synthetase;

• children's age up to 2 years

pharmachologic effect

Herbal preparation. It has an expectorant, mucolytic and antispasmodic effect due to the presence of saponins.

Side effect

Possibly: allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In rare cases: pain in the epigastric region. If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions are aggravated, or any other side effects not indicated in the instructions are noted, you should inform your doctor about it.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

GedelixЃ should not be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding (due to insufficient clinical data).

Application in children

Contraindication: children under 2 years of age.

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis are possible. Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.

Drug interactions

The drug should not be used concurrently with antitussive drugs, because this makes it difficult for the liquefied sputum to pass.
