PURPOSE
Ready-to-use soil for growing and feeding vegetable seedlings (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, root crops) and green crops, as well as flowers; germination of seeds; picking and subsequent landing in open ground; enrichment of the topsoil.
MODE OF APPLICATION
When planting trees and shrubs: prepare a 50x50 cm planting hole for shrubs and 70x70 cm for trees. If necessary, create a drainage layer 10-20 cm thick from broken brick or coarse gravel. Fill the planting hole with 1/3 gardener soil and place the seedling. Spread and distribute the roots. Cover the hole with earth carefully. Make sure that the root collar of the plant is above the ground. Keep in mind that the soil will settle by about 10% over time. Water and mulch liberally around the seedling.
For sowing seeds and growing seedlings of flower and vegetable plants: with the picking method, the seeds are sown in trays or boxes at the first stage. A layer of soil 2-3 cm thick is poured into them. The soil should be slightly moist. Then the seeds are carefully laid out at a distance of 1.5-2 cm.After that, they are sprinkled with a layer of soil 0.5 cm thick, lightly compacted with a palm and sprayed with the earth from a spray bottle or gently poured with water from a watering can, making sure that the jet does not erode the earth. About two weeks after germination, the plants are seated in separate containers.
When planting seedlings in open ground: prepare a 20-40 cm planting hole for each plant. Fill it with gardener soil. Set the plant and carefully fill the planting hole. Water liberally, mulch, mark the variety and planting site. Add an additional layer of soil if necessary. Remember that an hour before planting, the plants should be moderately watered so that the clod of earth can easily be removed from the glass and does not crumble during planting. It is advisable to plant seedlings in the evening, in cloudy weather. Plants, accustomed to incomplete daylight hours, cannot immediately adapt to the bright sun and require, at first, shading during the daytime.
