GARDAPROST" helps to stop the growth and division of prostate cells, reduce the severity of inflammation, reduce the proliferation of connective tissue in the prostate gland.
Characteristics of the components of the "GARDAPROST" complex ("GARDAPROST")
Numerous literary medical data * confirmed the efficacy and safety of the components included in the GARDAPROST complex when used in men with BPH.
Curcumin (Curcumin)
Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound found in Turmeric root, which causes its characteristic yellow and determines the pharmacological activity of Turmeric extract.
Reduces the mass and volume of the prostate gland in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by reducing the production of cell growth factors in the prostate gland.
This stops the progression of BPH, prevents the appearance of malignant cells, and reduces the risk of developing prostate cancer.
Reduces the activity of testosterone receptors in prostate cells.
It has been shown that curcumin triggers programmed cell death (apoptosis) in overdividing cells without having a toxic effect on healthy cells.
Reduces the sensitivity of androgen receptors in prostate cells to stimulating signals.
Prevents excessive formation of blood vessels.
Strengthens the sensitivity of prostate tumor cells to chemotherapy.
Curcumin prevents the development of excess inflammation in the prostate gland.
Reduces the level of pro-inflammatory molecules in the prostate tissue, which reduces the growth rate of adenomatous nodes.
This protects the prostate cells from damage in acute and chronic prostatitis.
Able to induce programmed cell death (apoptosis) in overdividing cells
Reduces the level of pro-inflammatory molecules in the prostate tissue, which reduces the growth rate of adenomatous nodes
Reduces the activity of testosterone receptors in prostate cells
Reduces the mass and volume of the prostate in BPH by reducing the production of cell growth factors in the prostate gland
Genistein
Genistein is an organic substance of plant origin from the class of isoflavones.
It is the main phytoestrogen in soy.
Unlike estrogens produced by the human body, genistein does not cause excessive division of hormone-dependent tissues while maintaining all other positive properties.
Genistein has a unique effect on estrogen receptors (ER) in the prostate gland and blocks the activity of ER-β, which provoke the development of tumor cells, including in precancerous conditions.
At the same time, genistein stimulates the activity of ER-β, which have a protective anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic effect, and also improves cell differentiation.
Genistein blocks both androgen-dependent and androgen-independent cell division of the prostate gland by decreasing the sensitivity of androgen receptors in the cells of the prostate gland.
Reduces the production of many growth factors (VEGF, VEGFR, TGF-b, BPGF), which helps to normalize the cell cycle, cell growth and the transmission of intercellular division signals.
Studies have shown that the higher the concentration of genistein in the prostate gland, the smaller its volume.
Genistein reduces the rate of abnormal blood vessel formation and metastasis, and also induces autophagy (self-consumption) of tumor cells.
Increases the sensitivity of malignant prostate cells to chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Thus, taking genistein can reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
Reduces the risk of prostate cancer
Has antiproliferative activity (reduces the intensity of cell division) in the tissues of the prostate gland
Slows down the growth of prostate cells
The higher the level of genistein in the prostate gland, the smaller its volume
Green tea extract (Camellia sinensis extract)
Epigalocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is the most active component of the green tea catechin group.
It is the presence of EGCG that determines all the beneficial properties of green tea.
It has been reliably established that EGCG blocks intracellular signaling pathways induced by protein growth factors in this, its activity is comparable to that of the drug finasteride.
EGCG is capable of blocking the stimulation of tumor growth and, therefore, suppressing pathological inflammatory responses.
Numerous studies have shown that EGCG at physiological concentrations effectively reduces the activity of the key inflammation enzyme, cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2), just as drugs like ibuprofen, paracetamol, and aspirin do.
EGCG has been shown to be capable of pushing tumor cells towards apoptosis (programmed cell death).
A similar selective activity of EGCG has been shown in cell models of hormone-sensitive and hormone-resistant prostate cancer cells.
EGCG protects the prostate gland against testosterone-induced benign hyperplasia and fibrosis, and prevents tumor cells from adhering to surrounding tissues.
Thus, EGCG effectively blocks the main signaling mechanisms of pathological cell division, triggers the death of transformed cells, and also suppresses inflammatory responses and pathological growth of blood vessels, i.e.
carries out multiple blocking of the main links of the pathogenesis of hyperplastic processes in the tissues of the prostate gland.
This allows EGCG to reduce the severity of the inflammatory process in patients with chronic prostatitis, and also inhibits the overgrowth of prostate tissue.
Normalizes the activity of insulin-like growth factor, leading to a decrease in the growth rate of the prostate gland in BPH
Reduces the activity of receptors responsible for the overgrowth of prostate cells
Reduces the proliferation of connective scar tissue in the prostate gland
