DESCRIPTION
Gamavit (Gamavit) - sterile solution for injection to increase natural resistance, immunocorrection and reduce the effects of intoxication in dogs, cats, farm animals and birds. In appearance, the drug is a transparent red liquid.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Gamavit belongs to the combined immunomodulatory drugs.
The use of the drug stimulates natural resistance, increases the bactericidal activity of blood serum, the resistance of animals to stress and excessive stress, has an immunomodulatory effect, increases the safety and weight gain of young animals.
According to the degree of impact on the body, Gamavit is classified as a low-hazard substance (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007).
In recommended doses and concentrations, it has no local irritating, allergenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects.
INDICATIONS
Gamavit is used to increase natural resistance, immunocorrection and reduce the effects of intoxication in dogs, cats, farm animals, fur animals and birds.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
The use of the drug is possible in various ways: subcutaneously, intravenously, intramuscularly and by drinking it with drinking water.
Prophylactic use of Gamavit:
intramuscularly for anemia, intoxication, acidosis, in the post-vaccination period, for old and weakened animals, during the recovery period after past illnesses and operations at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg body weight 1-3 times a week for 2-4 weeks;
to increase the weight gain of young stock for fattening, the drug is administered subcutaneously once a day at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg of body weight at the beginning of the fattening period - on the 1st, 4th and 9th days;
to increase the safety of newborn calves and piglets, the drug is administered intramuscularly once a day at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg of body weight on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 21st days of life;
at increased loads to enhance the resistance of animals to technological stresses (preparation of animals for exhibitions, competitions, transportation, on-farm movements) and vaccination, the drug is administered intramuscularly once before stressful exposure or a course 8, 6, 4 days before and immediately before exposure to stress factors;
for laying hens to increase egg production and egg weight, preserve day-old chickens, as well as increase weight gain in broiler chickens, Gamavit is used by the watering method.
In this case, 5 ml of the drug is diluted in 1 liter of water (working solution) and filled with a drinker for birds at the rate of a 2-hour need for birds in water. Drinking is carried out for 2 hours once a day for 4-5 days in a row. Before drinking the preparation, the bird is kept without water for 1 hour.
The use of Gamavit for therapeutic purposes:
for infectious and invasive diseases (including piroplasmosis) at a dose of 0.5 ml / kg of animal body weight. The drug is administered intramuscularly 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days as part of a complex of therapeutic agents in accordance with the instructions for their use;
when deworming together with anthelmintic drugs, in accordance with the instructions for their use, Gamavit is administered intramuscularly once at a dose of 0.3 ml / kg of animal body weight on the day of deworming and again at the same dose every other day;
to increase the fertility of female farm animals, the drug should be administered subcutaneously at a dose of 0.04 ml / kg of body weight a few hours before insemination;
to facilitate childbirth and prevent postpartum complications (retention of placenta and endometritis), the drug is administered subcutaneously at a dose of 0.05 ml / kg of animal weight 1 week before childbirth and during the preparatory period of childbirth;
in case of poisoning, the drug is administered intravenously or subcutaneously 2 times a day at a dose of 0.5-1.5 ml / kg, the most effective is the intravenous route of administration.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid skipping the next dose of Gamavit, as this can lead to a decrease in the therapeutic efficacy of the drug. If you miss one dose, you must enter it as soon as possible. Further, the interval until the next injection of the drug does not change.
Gamavit is compatible with other medicinal products and feed.
Products from animals and birds, to which Gamavit was used, are used for food purposes without restrictions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
A contraindication to the use of the drug is the increased individual sensitivity of animals and birds to the components of Gamavit.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using Gamavit in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are usually not observed.
In case of allergic reactions, the use of the drug is discontinued and antihistamines or other symptomatic treatment are prescribed.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Gamavit should be stored in sealed manufacturer's packaging, separately from food and feed, in a dry, protected: from direct sunlight and inaccessible to unauthorized persons at a temperature of 2 В° C to 25 В° C.
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of production.
PACKAGING
Gamavit is produced in 100 ml bottles in glass bottles of appropriate capacity, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps. Vials with the drug are placed in cardboard boxes. Each packaging unit is supplied with instructions for use.
