DESCRIPTION

Gabivit-Se is intended for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis, disorders of mineral metabolism and diseases of farm animals and dogs caused by a lack of selenium.

COMPOSITION AND FORM OF ISSUE

Gabivit-Se is a medicinal product in the form of a solution for injection containing 50,000 IU of vitamin A, 25,000 IU of vitamin D3, 4 mg of vitamin E, 10 mg of vitamin B1, 0.04 mg of vitamin B2, 2 mg of vitamin in 1 ml as active ingredients B6, 0.01 mg vitamin B12, 5 mg nicotinamide; 2 mg pantothenic acid, 2 mg inositol, 5 mg choline citrate, 0.02 mg cobalt chloride, 0.1 mg copper sulfate, 0.1 mg zinc sulfate, 0.06 mg manganese sulfate, 0.15 mg sodium selenite (in in terms of selenium) and 5 mg of lactalbumin protein hydrolyzate, as well as the preservative nipagin and the solvent - water for injection. In appearance it is an opalescent solution from light yellow to light brown. Packaged in 100 ml bottles made of dark glass.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The properties of the Gabivit-Se medicinal product are determined by the complex of biologically active substances included in its composition. Vitamins are involved in metabolism as catalysts and are necessary for the normal functioning of the animal's body. Trace elements activate the work of the body's enzyme system; selenium prevents the development of white muscle disease in young animals, has antioxidant properties. Selenium and vitamin E prevent the accumulation of toxic products of lipid peroxidation, and also increase the immunity of animals. According to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals, Gabivit-Se belongs to low-hazard substances, does not have a local irritating, embryotoxic and teratogenic effect.

INDICATIONS

Prescribed to cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and dogs for the prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis, disorders of mineral metabolism, selenium deficiency conditions, to increase immunity, to prevent stress, during the rehabilitation period after illness, as well as to increase productivity.

SIDE EFFECTS

Allergic reactions are possible in hypersensitive animals. At the injection site, a change in skin color can be observed, spontaneously disappearing within 10 - 14 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity of animals to the drug. Excessive content of selenium and vitamins in the diet of animals.
