Antimicrobial agent derived from nitrofuran. Active against gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacillus anthracis; gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp. (including Salmonella paratyphi).

special instructions
To prepare an aqueous solution, 1 part of nitrofural is dissolved in 5000 parts of isotonic sodium chloride solution or distilled water. The prepared solution can be stored for a long time.
