DESCRIPTION

Fulgard (Fulgard) - disinfectant for forced and preventive disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision in the form of a solution. In appearance, Fulgard is a clear liquid from light yellow to brownish yellow with a weak specific odor, easily miscible with water in any ratio. The tool is intended for use in the practice of veterinary disinfection by specialists of organizations engaged in disinfection activities and the population in personal subsidiary plots, for forced and preventive disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision and prevention of infectious diseases of animals, including those caused by pathogens of a viral nature.

COMPOSITION

Fulgard in 1 ml of a disinfectant contains as active ingredients a composition of two quaternary ammonium compounds (210 mg of alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride and 30 mg of didecyldimethylammonium chloride), 250 mg of glutaraldehyde, solvents - isopropanol and purified water.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Disinfectant Fulgard has a bactericidal effect against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, virucidal activity (including against the virus of African and classical swine fever) and fungicidal activity (including against spore-forming forms, yeast and mold), the agent is effective against pathogens I - IV stability groups 1. The mechanism of action consists in disrupting the redox processes in the microbial cell by reacting with the amino groups of the proteins of microorganisms.

According to the degree of impact on the body, Fulgardtm refers to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76). The agent does not accumulate in the body. In the recommended concentrations, it does not have a local irritant and sensitizing effect. Fulgard working solutions are non-corrosive, do not damage the materials of the treated surfaces, do not cause corrosion of metals (does not destroy metals, plastics, rubber and other materials).

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Fulgard is used for preventive and forced disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision, including: livestock, poultry and fur farming premises, technological equipment located in them, auxiliary facilities (including hatcheries, egg storage facilities), dairy units and feed kitchens, sanitary equipment, sanitary slaughterhouses, slaughterhouses workshops and points, open objects (ramps, overpasses, platforms), containers and overalls; production facilities, technological equipment and the territory of enterprises of the biological, food, processing industry, as well as containers, overalls and items for animal care; vehicles (including road, rail, water and air transport used to transport animals and poultry, as well as raw materials and products of animal origin);

Disinfection is carried out by means of fine-drop irrigation, application of foam, immersion or wiping of the disinfected surfaces with an aqueous (working) solution. Processing is carried out in the absence of animals, slaughter products and animal products by hand, soaking or using disinfection equipment, foam generating or spraying equipment, aerosol, using hot or cold fog generators. Aerosol disinfection is carried out with ventilation off and in a tightly (hermetically) closed room.

Before disinfection, mechanical cleaning and washing of premises and equipment is carried out.

Working solutions are prepared taking into account the concentration required for disinfection purposes by adding appropriate amounts of the agent to tap water at a temperature of 8-25 В° C. When calculating the concentration of working solutions, the agent is taken as 100% substance.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Disinfection of livestock buildings is carried out in the absence of animals. After the expiration of the established disinfection exposure of the object, the places of possible accumulation of disinfectant residues accessible to animals (including feeders, drinkers and other surface areas) are washed with water. Rinsing of disinfectant residues from other surfaces is not required. Animals are brought into the premises after airing.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Fulgard is not compatible with anionic surfactants (surfactants) solutions. For the use of Fulgard working solutions at negative temperatures (down to -20 В° C), it is recommended to prepare Fulgard working solution based on a 30% aqueous solution of ethylene glycol.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the Fulgard disinfectant in the manufacturer's packaging in a place protected from light at temperatures from -20 В° C to + 25 В° C, short-term (no more than 3 months) storage at temperatures up to + 50 В° C is allowed.

Shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of manufacture. The shelf life of working solutions is no more than 30 days. Fulgard should not be applied beyond the expiration date.

PACKAGING

The Fulgard disinfectant is produced in 20 liter polyethylene canisters with screw caps.
