DESCRIPTION

Frontline Spot It is designed to combat fleas, lice, lice and ticks (ixodids, cheilitella, otodectos) in cats. Colorless transparent liquid with a weak specific odor.

COMPOSITION

The drug contains a 10% solution of fipronil (C12H4CL2F6N4OS): fipronil - 10 g, butylhydroxyanisole - 0.02 g, butylhydroxytoluene - 0.01 g, ethanol - 10 ml, solvent - up to 100 ml.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Fipronil blocks the GABA receptors of the parasite and has a pronounced insecticidal and acaricidal effect against lice, fleas, lice and ticks (ixodidae, cheilitella, otodektosis) parasitizing on cats. Effective at all stages of parasite development. It does not have a systemic effect, but accumulates in the epidermis and sebaceous glands, has a contact insectoacaricidal effect, gradually spreading over the body surface within 24 hours. Provides protection of animals from ectoparasites in cats for a period of 15-21 days. The duration of flea protection is 1.5 months.

APPLICATION

Break off the tip of the pipette, move the hair apart, and, pressing the pipette, apply the drug to the skin at one or several points from the neck to the shoulder blades at a dose of 1 pipette 0.5 ml per cat. For the treatment of otodectosis (ear scabies), drip into each ear 4-b drops (always in both ears) once. For even distribution of the drug, fold the auricle in half and lightly massage its base, apply the remainder to the skin between the shoulder blades. Re-process after the specified expiration date.

SIDE EFFECTS

Causes minor irritation in eye contact. May cause profuse drooling when licking.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Do not wash cats within 48 hours after treatment with the drug. Do not pet cats for 24 hours after treatment.

STORAGE

Store the drug in a closed manufacturer's packaging separately from feed and food in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature from 0 В° C to 35 В° C. The shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
