DESCRIPTION

Forticlin Spray - aerosol is used for farm animals, dogs, cats and birds to treat inflammatory diseases of the skin and hooves (hooves) of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to tetracyclines, incl. necrobacteriosis of cattle and sheep, surgical and traumatic origin of wounds, burns, frostbite; for the prevention of postoperative infections (after castration, docking of tails and ears, trimming horns and hooves, suturing), for treating the umbilical cord of newborns, abrasions, scratches, injuries in the area of ​​the hooves and interdigital cleft.

COMPOSITION

100 ml of the drug contains 2.0 g of chlortetracycline hydrochloride.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Hydrochloride, which is part of the chlortetracycline preparation, has a pronounced antibacterial activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms that cause infections of the skin and hooves in animals, including Streptococcus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Haemophilus spp., Klebsiella spp. chlamydia and protozoa (Theileria, Eperythozoom, Anaplasma); weakly active against acid-fast bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Treatments are carried out once every 5-7 days. Before applying the drug, dirt, hair, necrotic tissue, pus and wound exudate are removed from the treated surface of the animal's body. Shake the balloon and, holding it vertically, spray the drug onto the affected area from a distance of 18-20 cm for 2-3 seconds.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Meat and milk of animals during and after treatment with the drug can be used without restrictions. In the case of forced slaughter, the areas of the carcass treated with the drug are cleaned and disposed of.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity of the animal.

SIDE EFFECTS

Complications and side effects when using Forticlin in accordance with this instruction were not identified. With an increased individual sensitivity of animals to the components of the drug and the appearance of allergic phenomena, the use of the drug is stopped.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

In sealed manufacturer's packaging, separately from food and feed, in a dry, dark place, at a temperature of 15 В° C to 20 В° C. The medicinal product should be stored out of the reach of children and animals.

The shelf life of the drug in a sealed package, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture. The drug should not be used after the expiration date.
