DESCRIPTION

Fly Byte (Flybait) - pellets for the destruction of flies on objects of various types.

COMPOSITION

Fly Byte contains 1% methomyl, muscalure (9-cis-tricosen) (0.25%), sugar, bitrex (0.01%) as an active ingredient.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Possesses an acute insecticidal effect against adult flies within 3 - 5 minutes after contact and retains its activity for 2.5 - 3 months, that is, the entire summer season of flies.

The active substance - methomil (1%) - belongs to the group of carbamates and in its biological activity is very close to organophosphorus compounds: it inhibits cholinesterase, as a result of which the nervous and hematopoietic systems are damaged. In addition, methomil has a long-term residual activity on the treated surfaces, and decomposes in living organisms and in the soil within a few hours, which eliminates the danger of environmental pollution by residual amounts of the drug. The sex pheromone of flies - muscalur, or 9-cis-tricosene (0.25%), attracts flies within a radius of their finding up to 30 meters.

According to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals in terms of acute toxicity when administered into the stomach (LD50 for rats 3731 mg / kg) and applied to intact skin (LD50 more than 2500 mg / kg) in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76 refers to 3 - 4 the class of moderately and low-hazard drugs, respectively; in the zone of acute and subacute biocidal action, in accordance with the Classification of the degree of danger of disinsection agents, the bait belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard drugs.

Pairs of bait in conditions of saturating concentrations also belong to the 4th class of low-hazard pest control agents. With a single contact with intact skin of rats and rabbits, no local irritating effect was detected; with repeated - mild local irritating effect; after a single contact with mucous membranes, it may cause moderate irritation. DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

To destroy adult flies, the granules are laid out on substrates (lid or saucer) at the rate of 2.5 g per 1 bait station, calculated for an area of ​​1 m2. One 10 g bag is enough for 4 m2 treatment. Bait stations are placed in places of the greatest concentration of flies: near cutting tables in restaurants, cafes, canteens, places for cooking, packing, hanging, in kitchens of apartments in residential buildings, on terraces, etc. It should be remembered that flies avoid cold areas and drafts preferring warm places.

During the period of its action, the bait can be rearranged to other places, placing it where the largest number of flies is observed. Fly Byte can be used both dry and moist. Moistening the pellets significantly increases the attractiveness of the fly bait.

Fly Byte can be used to treat vertical surfaces: for this, the bait is mixed with water in a ratio of 1: 0.8 (10 g of the preparation, 8 ml of water), stirred until smooth and left for 15 minutes. The resulting mass is applied with a brush to walls near doors and windows, partitions, support beams and other surfaces. A working solution prepared from 25 bags of 10 g (250 g per 200 ml of water) is designed for processing 100 m2.

Repeated treatments are carried out according to entomological indications: with the accumulation of flies or their constant flight into the room. For successful control of flies, insecticide treatment should be combined with cleaning the area, cleaning contaminated surfaces and preventing flies from flying into the room.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Lay out baits in trays or on special substrates, placing them so that they do not fall into the field of view of children. If there are children on the objects, the bait should be laid out without attracting their attention, in those places that are difficult for them to access.

Avoid contact of granules with unprotected skin of hands. When using the drug more than one package a day, it is recommended that sanitary workers protect the skin of their hands with rubber gloves.

Use the product only for its intended purpose. If the recommended precautions are violated, drug poisoning may occur. In case of poisoning with the drug while working with the product, the victim should be removed to fresh air.

In case of accidental contact of the product on the mucous membrane of the eyes or on the skin, wash them abundantly with water. In case of accidental swallowing of the drug, you must drink a few glasses of water, and then take 10 - 20 tablets of activated carbon. Seek medical attention if necessary. The antidote is atropine.
