How does a pulse oximeter work?
The sensor with LEDs is placed on the finger.
When light passes through the blood and soft tissues, it is partially absorbed, which makes it possible to determine the oxygen content in the blood.
The received data is displayed on the device display in the form of numbers.
When evaluating indicators, it is taken into account that:
the oxygen content in the blood of a healthy person is 95-99%
a rapid decrease in the indicator indicates the development of pulmonary or cardiovascular diseases
an indicator below 92% indicates acute respiratory failure
a decrease in the value by 3-4% from the usual level for a person may indicate the presence of a serious illness
Display screen: The product is equipped with a two-color OLED display.
Saving energy and protecting the environment: the product has low power consumption and two AAA batteries can last more than 40 hours (Batteries are not included in the package).
Voltage warning: If the battery voltage is too low, it may affect normal use.
Auto power off: If no signal, the device will automatically power off after 8 seconds.
