excipients: povidone K17 (PVP) - 41 mg

calcium stearate - 4 mg

croscarmellose sodium - 5 mg.

pharmachologic effect

Filtrum-STI has proven clinical efficacy for viral infections, including rotavirus infections and bacterial acute intestinal infections

In mild and moderate forms of acute, Filtrum-STI can be used as the main pathogenetic treatment, the use of additional antibacterial agents is not required

Filtrum-STI is well tolerated.

There were no side effects when taking the drug

Filtrum-STI has a high safety profile and does not injure the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract

The sorption capacity of Filtrum-STI is 1000 times higher than that of activated carbon, which is especially pronounced for substances with medium (-exo and endotoxins) and high molecular weight (pathogenic microorganisms).

Indications

For treatment and prevention:

acute viral intestinal infections, incl.

rotavirus infection (rotavirus gastroenteritis)

enteroviral diarrhea (viral gastroenteritis)

enterovirus fever (summer flu)

infections caused by Norwal viruses

viral infections of unknown etiology

acute bacterial intestinal infections, incl.

food toxicoinfections (poisoning with bacterial exotoxins in food)

salmonellosis

dysentery

bacterial infections of unexplained etiology

acute poisoning with drugs, alkaloids, heavy metal salts, alcohol and other poisons

food and drug allergies

hyperbilirubinemia and hyperazotemia

(with hepatic and renal failure)

purulent-inflammatory diseases, accompanied by severe intoxication

Terms of elimination of the main symptoms of acute intestinal infections while taking Filtrum-STI:

Elimination of diarrhea and vomiting for 1-2 days of treatment

Bloating, abdominal pain for 1-2 days of treatment

Normalization of the stool for 3-4 days of treatment

Normalization of appetite and general well-being for 3-4 days of treatment

Symptoms of general intoxication (fever, chills, headache) for 1-2 days of treatment.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

There are no data on the safety of using Filtrum-STI during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance.

Side effects

Rarely - allergic reactions, constipation.

Long-term use can lead to impaired absorption of vitamins, calcium, and therefore, prophylactic intake of multivitamins and calcium preparations is recommended.

Interaction

It is possible to reduce the therapeutic effect of some simultaneously used drugs.

The drug can be used in combination therapy with other drugs, subject to the rules of separate administration.
