Fascide 0.5kg
DESCRIPTION
Fascicide - granules for deworming ruminants with trematodes. In appearance, the drug is a flat round tablet with a scored on one side, from cream to gray, or granules from cream to gray, hardly soluble in water.
COMPOSITION
Fascicide granules in 1 g as an active ingredient contain oxyclosanide - 0.1 g and auxiliary substances - potato starch - 0.4 g, lactose - 0.38 g, calcium stearate - 0.08 g and polyvinylpyrrolidone - 0.04 g.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Fascicide tablets and granules belong to anthelmintic drugs. They have a pronounced trematodocidal effect on all phases of development of Fasciola spp., Paramphistomum spp, and Dicrocoelium lanceatum parasitizing in ruminants.
The mechanism of action of oxyclozanide, which is part of the drug, is to disrupt phosphorylation processes, reduce the activity of fumarate reductase and succinate dehydrogenase in helminths, which leads to paralysis and death of trematodes.
When administered orally, oxyclosanide is rapidly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and penetrates into most organs and tissues; excreted from the body in unchanged form and in the form of metabolites, mainly with urine and feces, in lactating animals - partly with milk.
In terms of the degree of impact on the body, the phasocide belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not possess embryotoxic, teratogenic, mutagenic and allergenic properties.
INDICATIONS
Acute and chronic fascioliasis, dicroceliosis and paramphistomatosis in cattle, sheep and goats.
DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Fascicide granules are applied to animals for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes once in a mixture with feed - cattle individually, small ruminants individually or in groups, in the following doses:
with fascioliasis and dicroceliosis - 1 g of granules per 10 kg of animal weight, which corresponds to 10 mg of oxyclosanide per 1 kg of animal weight;
with paramphistomiasis - 1.25 g of granules per 10 kg of animal weight, which corresponds to 12.5 mg of oxyclosanide per 1 kg of animal weight.
A special diet and the use of laxatives before deworming are not required. Deworming of animals against sexually mature trematodes is carried out in November - December, against young - according to indications.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using the drug according to the instructions, side effects and complications are not observed. In rare cases, after the application of Faskocid, individual reactions are possible (depression, increased salivation, diarrhea), which spontaneously pass and do not require the use of drugs.

Not installed.
