DESCRIPTION

Rodenticidal agent The explosive mixture is a ready-to-use food-grade doughy bait of red and blue in equal proportions. The agent has a high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice: the eatenability of the bait is: 49% of the daily diet of rats, 43% of house mice and 35% of voles. The death of rats occurred on days 4-5 (4.3 days on average), on days 5-4 (4.7 days on average) - mice and on days 5-4 (4.5 days on average) - voles.

COMPOSITION

Contains as an active substance (DB) a second generation anticoagulant - brodifacum-0.005%, as well as bitrex (bitter component), which protects baits from being eaten by birds and reduces the risk of accidental poisoning of people and non-target species of animals, dye, attractant, vegetable oil, preservative and food fillers.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The active ingredient - brodifacum - belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. DL50 0.42 - 0.56 mg / kg when injected into the stomach of rats, mice - 0.4 mg / kg. When applied to the skin of rabbits, the DL50 is 0.25-0.62 mg / kg; rats - 3.2-5.2 mg / kg. LC3o for the compound is very low - 50 mg / m3 (aerosol). Has a pronounced cumulative effect. After repeated application to the skin, a skin-resorptive effect was established; local irritant properties are weak.

According to the parameters of acute toxicity with a single introduction into the stomach and application to the skin, it belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard substances; after repeated application to the skin, a weak local irritant effect was revealed; a weak irritant effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes was established; according to the limiting toxicity index for rodenticides - cumulation, it belongs to the 2nd class of highly hazardous substances according to the Classification of toxicity and hazard of rodenticides. Vapors of the agent are of little danger due to the low volatility of DB-brodifacum.

Maximum concentration limit of the active substance - brodifacum in the air of the working area - 0.001 mg / m (aerosol) - 1 hazard class with a mark requires protection of the skin and eyes.

PURPOSE

The product is intended for the destruction of rats (gray, black), house and forest mice and voles at objects of various categories: residential and non-residential buildings, industrial and underground structures, at food processing enterprises, basements, cellars, garden and garden plots, adjacent to cottages and economic buildings, as well as in utility rooms for food, children (in places not accessible to children) and medical institutions by organizations engaged in disinfection activities, and by the population in everyday life.

MODE OF APPLICATION

The location of the bait and its consumption depend on the habitat of the rodents and their number.

The bait is placed in places where traces of the vital activity of rodents (gnaws, droppings) are found: on the paths of movement, in corners, along walls and partitions, under furniture, near burrows, especially in areas where natural focal infections are possible. The bait is laid out in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in those adapted for these. purposes in containers (container, tray, box) or on substrates of thick paper, polyethylene, plastic, which are essentially stationary bait stations. This increases the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicates access to the bait for non-target species of animals.

The bait is laid out at 20-50 g for rats and 10-30 g for mice and voles. If this amount of bait is eaten, then it is enough for the death of rodents, because brodifacum, unlike other analogues, has not only an anticoagulant effect, but exhibits the properties of an acute poison.

The distance between the bait placement points is from 2 to 15 m, depending on the number of rodents. Since the amount of bait for mice and voles is less than for rats, it is laid out more often, placing it throughout the entire volume of the premises.

The laid out bait is examined in 1-2 days after the layout, and then within 7-10 days control over its eating is carried out. The eaten portions are replaced with new ones, and those that have not been touched for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents.

Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. Finish the layout when the bait is generally intact.

The bait can be left for a longer period in places that are favorable for habitat and movement of rodents or in order to prevent colonization of objects during periods of expected growth in numbers. In this case, observations must be carried out at least 2 times a month.

PRECAUTIONS

In accordance with the Labor Protection Regulations for Disinfection Workers, Sanitary Regulations (SP) 3.5.3.1129-02, persons at least 18 years of age who have undergone special instructions and do not suffer from blood and liver diseases are allowed to work with the product.

When working with the product, it is forbidden to smoke, drink, eat; after finishing work wash your hands and face with warm water and soap.

All work related to the product (weighing, packaging) is carried out in rooms designated for these purposes with effective supply and exhaust ventilation or in a fume hood.

At the end of work, tables and tools should be wiped with a rag or soft paper, then rinsed with 10% soda solution, and then with water.

Contaminated overalls are neutralized by soaking in a soda solution for 5-6 hours, followed by washing. Hands should be washed with warm water and soap.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store the product in a dry, covered warehouse in a closed container, at a temperature not lower than minus 20 В° C and not higher than plus 40 В° C, separately from feed and fodder.

Shelf life - 2 years in unopened manufacturer's packaging.
