Special conditions

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Drug interactions

Preparations containing aluminum hydroxide, cholestyramine, colestipol reduce absorption and reduce the effect of the drug.

Simultaneous reception is impractical.

Pharmacodynamics

Choleretic (cholekinetic and choleretic) agent, reduces the processes of putrefaction and fermentation in the intestines.

Strengthens the secretory function of liver cells, reflexively increases the secretory and motor activity of the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.

Strengthens the formation of bile and bile acids.

The action of bile is due to the reflex effect on the secretory function of the liver parenchyma.

Bile also enhances the secretory and motor functions of the gastrointestinal tract.

The substances contained in garlic enhance the secretory and motor function of the gastrointestinal tract, stimulate the secretion of bile.

Nettle leaves have choleretic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Activated carbon is an adsorbent that binds toxic substances in the gastrointestinal tract.

Pharmokinetics

The drug is well absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract.

Cholic and chenodeoxycholic acids contained in the preparation undergo 7-alpha dehydroxylation in the intestine.

Chenodeoxycholic acid, in addition, undergoes metabolism in the liver: it conjugates with amino acids, is secreted into bile, from where it is again secreted into the intestine, then partially reabsorbed

the rest is excreted through the intestines.

Indications

As part of complex therapy: chronic reactive hepatitis, cholangitis, acalculous (non-calculous) cholecystitis, hypokinetic biliary dyskinesia, atonic constipation, postcholecystectomy syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug components, calculous cholecystitis, obstructive jaundice, acute hepatitis, acute and subacute liver dystrophy, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer (in the acute phase), acute enterocolitis, acute pancreatitis, children under 12 years of age.

Application during pregnancy and during breastfeeding

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.

A doctor's consultation is required.

Overdose

Possible diarrhea, nausea, heartburn, pruritus, increased activity of liver" transaminases in the blood serum.

Treatment: symptomatic.
