DESCRIPTION

Cloprostenol - a synthetic functional analogue of prostaglandin F2a has a specific luteolytic effect.

COMPOSITION

Content in 1 ml: 0.25 mg of cloprostenol (in the form of sodium salt) in 1 ml of solution. Available in a 10 ml glass bottle.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The introduction of the drug promotes the resorption of the corpus luteum and thus creates the prerequisites for the onset of sexual heat and ovulation. The period from the introduction of the drug to the appearance of the first signs of sexual heat is 48-60 hours, the most suitable period for artificial insemination is the 76th hour from the moment of administration of the drug (in mares, 24 hours later). The period of elimination of the drug from the body is 24 hours.

APPLICATION

Cattle: The drug is administered intramuscularly. Synchronization of estrus: 2 ml of the drug (0.50 mg of active ingredient) is injected 2 times in an interval of 10 days. The first dose of the drug is administered in any phase of the sexual cycle (in cows in the period 40-60 days after calving). On the 11th day after the first injection, the second dose is administered, on the 14th day (72-76 hours after the second dose), artificial insemination (regardless of external signs of estrus) is performed, followed by repeated artificial insemination (15th day).

Before each use of the drug for synchronization in the animal, an examination of the genitals must be preceded. The prerequisite for the inclusion of animals in groups is the physiological state of the genital organs of dry cows, their physiological and sexual maturity.

Functional disorders of the ovaries: 2 ml of the drug is injected, artificial insemination is performed at the first estrus. If estrus does not occur, the drug is injected again, at a dose of 2 ml on the 11th day after the first injection, followed by artificial insemination after 72-76 hours, if necessary, repeated artificial insemination is carried out. For the treatment of follicular cysts, 2 ml of the drug is injected once, no earlier than on the 10th day after the administration of HCG or LHRH after a positive ovarian response has been established. The techka will also come on the 3rd day after the administration of Estrofan.

Post-puerperal diseases of the uterus: 2 ml of the drug is injected, if necessary, treatment can be supplemented with intrauterine application of preparations in the form of foam or washing (best at the same time with application), on the 11th day - reapplication, 14th day - artificial insemination, 15th day - repeated artificial insemination.

Termination of pregnancy: 2 ml of the drug is administered (further care depending on the clinical condition).

Sows:

A single dose is 0.7 ml of the drug (0.175 mg of active ingredient) is administered from the 111th day of pregnancy. Most of the induced farrowing occurs before 40 hours after injection, with a culmination between 24-35 hours.

Mares:

A single dose is 1 ml of the drug (0.25 mg of active ingredient). In mares with a cycle, the drug is administered in the period from 5 to 13 days after estrus. The most suitable time for mating is 4-6 days after application.

SIDE EFFECTS

In mares, slight sweating is observed, which will disappear within 1 hour after administration.

Processed animals must not be slaughtered for meat during the day. Milk can be eaten without restrictions.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, cool and dark place at a temperature of 10-15 В° C. Shelf life 3 years.
